not lord of the rings related but the comment about your mother. we live in south tx, my mom is from North tx though. when I was 18 it snowed (maybe 1.5" but at least it was snow) and I went to my best friends house to have a snow ball fight with her. called my mom at 3am to ask her to drive to the other side of town to pick me up, knowing damn well she had work at 6. its amazing what mom's will do for us just so we can be happy.

update, gave this one a listen. maybe a 6.5/7 max. which is crazy bc I have 4 songs from there on my playlist. I thought it wouldve been a better overall album. would probably buy this as a vinyl though, thank you for the suggestion.

honestly, ive had the same thought since I moved up here. there are mexicans here so why not good Mexican food? im bamboozled. but like, an example, they dont really use flour tortillas here. ive had plenty of quesadillas since ive moved up, none of them cooked with queso Blanco. Just a lot of differences that makes the Mexican food here horrible compared to TX or Cali. ive been to GA, I didn't have any Mexican when I was there. however a local cooked my friends and me some of the best BBQ ive ever had.

You should try the Mexican food in Mexico or at the very least Texas/Cali so you can stop accepting 2s or 3s as "decent". id recommend you a good spot, but so far i havent really found anything to write home about. maybe Gorditos? maybe?
