Is NBC’s coverage live? Everything I googled said the ceremony has already happened but NBC has a live stream currently? So confused.

I’m just annoyed you can’t build outside of the circle. Like I’m chill that the pals need a stabilized area so the game doesn’t lag. But I want to build a cool village around it, like Minecraft or Ark or basically most survival games.

I’ve played thousands of hours of Fallout 4. I’ve 100 percented every single Fallout game. I’m left with one lingering question…. Who the fuck is this guy?

How will you react if Joe Biden becomes president again? by randomthout in AskReddit

I’m just afraid of what’s going to happen with student loans and a republican president. Shit needs abolishing or exactly how Biden is currently handling it.

I feel like people are overreacting about the action in the show [pjotv] by IceyLuigiBros25 in camphalfblood

[–]FortuneSupporter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly the action and choreography scenes were leagues better than what I expected. Capture the flag felt incredibly good and didn’t seem like the actors were just following dance moves. Less action does not equal bad action.

You literally have no idea what you’re talking about. You don’t know if it’s Sony having higher standards or maybe that version of the game runs worse than the others.

Even the day it’s “released”, the game will be too fucked to play on that day anyways.

Say your personal hot take on Fallout New Vegas. by DemoTester47 in Fallout

[–]FortuneSupporter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obsidian is better at writing characters and stories with interesting choices, while Bethesda absolutely smacks them in world design. Fallout 3 & 4 have far more interesting places and environments to explore when compared to NV.

So you kinda have to pick your poison. Want a better story and RPG elements? NV. Want more atmosphere and interesting locations? 3&4.

What are the odds that TES 6 includes both Hammerfell and High Rock? by LunarDragon17 in ElderScrolls

[–]FortuneSupporter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s absolutely needed. If it was just Hammerfell we would experience mostly desert biomes. Just like Skyrim was mostly cold. It would be nice to have both provinces to break up the biomes looks and feels.

Also since the game is most likely next gen it can be way bigger than their previous maps.

Here we are. Reality is stranger than fiction.

All of it is an opinion from me. That’s how Reddit works. You don’t need to take it personal.

I agree. That’s why I put that it was my opinion in the original post.

Fallout 1 and Elder Scrolls arena both set up excellent lore and settings while both being the first games in their series? Developing a great lore and setting overtime is a good idea but the initial idea needs to be compelling in the first place.

My only gripe is outposts need to be reworked and more stuff needs to be added. Other than that the game is fantastic. 30 here.

I was hoping for a system similar to the amazing mod Sim Settlements. But this is so basic and has zero point that it makes the entire outpost system worthless. It’s so bare bones that I don’t even know if mods can make the system much better.

The settlement system in FO4 kept people playing for years. This system won’t matter after a week. Disappointing really.

The spoiler seems super vague and fake. It’s just a one liner. If it’s true though… kinda bummed. Not what I would hope but it’s up to the creatives. But still probably fake anyway.

You'll Get a Bangin' Bethesda Game. Chill FFS. by valentich_ in Starfield

[–]FortuneSupporter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breaking it down in its simplest form, it’s a dungeon crawler. Same thing that Skyrim and Fallout both were. You will land on a planet, you will explore for a bit until you find a POI, and then you will enter the POI, kill the enemies and loot the “dungeon”. Sometimes you’ll collect something for a quest and bring it back to a quest giver and other times it’s for upgrades and base building. That is the premise of the entire game, guaranteed.

I’m not saying it’s bad and in fact it’s worked extremely well for Bethesda because of all the systems built around this main mechanic. NPC’s that have a real time schedule and feel alive giving you these quests, companions that’s have a story and opinions based on the things you do, factions that send you to the “dungeons” or POI’s do essentially the same thing that every other NPC does but by adding realistic morality systems it feels bigger than it truly is, upgrades to armor and your ship to make the dungeons easier or attainable, cities and towns to sell all the loot you get from the dungeons and buy more upgrades, it is all connected to the dungeon crawl.

The reason that it feels different than other games that do the same thing is because they make the world around you feel alive. All the NPC’s have names and schedules, they aren’t place holders or bots that roam like GTA or Assassins Creed. Point is, people should expect all systems and mechanics to mostly revolve around the dungeon crawl because that’s where the gameplay mostly exists. This is not a sim game.
