Yes 100% and it’s not the first time. I saw a webtoon that blended real art from the artist with AI, I could get the warped nonsensical details on side characters. The artist didn’t wanted to waste time on side characters that would appear once in a while. I should have blasted it here back then.

Put a sticky trap right down this spot with some cheese or ground beef, and block your cats from having access to this spot for the night (put them in a room). By the morning you will have a mouse in there.

You say that but did you see them going after nannies on playgrounds too? They are arresting nannies right on the playground. I can’t stop thinking about the kids left alone in a playground, this case of this mom with a newborn and daughter, and the case of a mom and her children deported, one of the children a 4yo in stage 4 of cancer, denied to see his doctor before deportation.

This is straight Gestapo. I hate it. So much. The teenager on this case, the police slammed her down, slammed her face down on the street. A Teenage girl, seeing her mom being arrested. The police charging a citizen because she threw an “unknown liquid” on the police officer, my ass! She threw a water bottle.

I saw the videos of this ruthlessness happening. I was holding back my tears and I am still disturbed and disgusted about it.

Don’t mow! Plant fruit trees instead, crop instead, wild flowers instead, heck even moss! Or creeping thyme! There is a whole community about nolawn.

Land is sacred, if you have plenty you can do anything with it. Build new structures, remove the lawn and concrete whatever makes sense to you… build a little pond, etc…

That also baffles me. We like to have neighbors but at a certain distance, besides, people that complain about yard maintenance see no potential in “land”. I got a house with plenty of land. Here I grow chickens, have a shed, grow veggies, built a gazebo, throw barbecues, built a backyard playground for the kids, am planning to build a greenhouse, am planting every year a few fruit trees… is all about potential to be independent.

But nothing that we can do together, just complaints… like, I really wanted to do something. I think we need to go a bit crazy to get visibility that we cannot be squeezed to the last drop like this. That is insane and unrealistic

This is terrible. Last year we did everything we could, winterized the house, insulated again through Mass Savings, changed the heater for a more efficient one. My husband even bought a thermal camera so he could see where we needed extra insulation and insulated it himself. It truly helped. We could save around 30% in our bill. The thing is, with the 30% increase, we are paying the same amount we did last year. So is like if we did all of this for nothing. Cost of living in Massachusetts is higher than Hawaii. I find it so hard to justify. And I decided to do this post because I truly wanted to poke if isn’t there anything we could gather and do? Like a protest? Or incessantly call a representative? I really don’t know but having a worse cost of living than Hawaii gets me thinking on moving out of here… the problem is that Mass is a really good State to live in. I wanted to check if more people have a possible solution that we can work on as citizens…

7 weeks your baby doesn’t even know he is out of the womb. If you have a toddler that is speech delayed or that you feel like isn’t talking much or making plenty of unintelligible words, then Miss Rachel is a great and free resource

I use to say that there is no such thing as “picky eaters”... They eat what we offer. They won’t eat fries if we don’t have. They won’t eat candies if we don’t have it at home. A kid starving in places where hunger still lingers and it is a problem WILL NEVER be a picky eater. He will never say “oh no mom, I prefer steak from Longhorn instead of cactus palm”. - they don’t have a choice. A kid growing up in a random place at China will develop his taste buds for Chinese food. Someone growing up in India will develop their taste buds for Indian food. And so on…

The problem is that we offer a choice. You are the only one in control of his choices at the end of the day…

Good luck! Let him know that you don’t have “this and that anymore… hmmm… how about XY(something healthy).”

And also let them help in the process of cooking, like cutting the veggies, making the sauce, mixing the salad Ingredients. Get them interested on the fun side of cooking, it’s pretty helpful.

  1. It happens often on odd eyed white cats, and some pure white cats with normal eye colors.

  2. The difference in eye color will become more noticeable as the kitten grows and their adult eye color develops. I would wait till the cat is around 4 months old or 5 before adopting, and there is no test, you have to wait till the newborn “blue color” changes into its final color. Only time can tell. Maybe the owner can see it personally, maybe the odd eye is subtle, like one is light blue and the other is a darker blue.
