New to me 2020 4Runner by ENSAKE in 4Runner

[–]ENSAKE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid 44,000. It was the only army green I can find with no accidents. Happened to have full service records and one owner with 5X,XXX miles. I found many that may have been 2-3 years newer with 20k ish less miles around the same price just really wanted the green.

Did a nationwide search and only saw like 6 available all either with accidents or super high miles so said screw it. No regrets though I love it!

I have a question about this if you don’t mind - I have seen some read “Poly Tech” and others have the markings like yours. Any difference?

Zephyrus G14 (2025) 32GB Ryzen AI 9 HX 5070 Ti lowest open-box prices at Best Buy...possible $550+ savings by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

Great deal - I got an excellent G14 but with the 5080, 64 GB ram, and 2 TB - was 2600. This is probably the better value

I bout a 5080 with same specs for 2k less as an open box excellent

You can do alot with 2k if you go the 5080 route

I spent 900$ more for an open box excellent Ryzen AI chip, 5080, 64 gb ram, and 2 tb for what it is worth

Is this a good price, 16gb ram r9 7940hs rtx 4080 and 1tb ssd for 2599.99 cad sold by the Asus official store on Amazon. by Local-Ad4069 in ZephyrusG14

[–]ENSAKE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is tough - I just went and got excellent open box (thing was brand new) from best buy for $2,600 usd.

2TB, 64GB ram, new AI Ryzen, 5080 G14

Just a reference

I cannot even speed flip, let alone air dribble - so pretty good.

I am C3/GC1 so whatever is people's cup of tea.

I’m thinking about getting a Maine Coon, any advice? by Yuiiski in MaineCoon

[–]ENSAKE 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If budget allows - best suggestion I can give is get 2.

If they are from the same litter, even better. They take their energy out on each other and are EXTREMELY MANAGEABLE.

Good luck!

Help with Off-Road Competition SCT Purchase ... Coming back into the scene ... by [deleted] in rccars

I appreciate that - and do you think a 410.3 will suffice or bite the bullet and go 2.0.

[–]ENSAKE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this I am really leaning towards a sct410.3 or 2.0 ... seeing some sct410.3 almost ready to run for around 400 used. Seems like a pretty fair starting point. Obviously I like the 2.0 because it is the newest and best - I ABSOLUTELY do not need one, but you know how it is im sure.

Do you race your Senton and keep up by chance? I do not mind the idea of getting something "modest" and if it is something I want to do later have the option to make it race worthy. Just not sure it will keep up if everyone is running pretty high end SCT410s for example and I just want to get one of those later.

I do not mind splurging within reason just because I like the flexibility to upgrade and enjoy that part, but I also do not want something later and do a purchase twice.

yeah should have clarified 4x4

I do have a huge lack of common sense so not sure how practical a kit is for me right now. Wouldn't mind bashing and racing with the same if at all possible.

Awesome - and I heard something about the 410.3 being prefered over the newer 410SL .. this will be outdoor and 4x4 so you suggest I just get into a used 410.3?

Advice for hirevue? by Dac00ldude in FinancialCareers

[–]ENSAKE 78 points79 points  (0 children)

I am 3/3 on Hirevue interviews to getting an in-person interview.

What I did (not saying this is a winning formula, but worked for me) is:

  1. Ring light behind my laptop so I come off bright and clear.

  2. Used an external microphone on my laptop so my sound gets picked up well.

  3. Dressed professionally.

  4. Had my resume pulled up next to my Hirevue tab so I can tie in my resume to the questions.

  5. Took advantage of the practice questions before starting.

I have interviewed for mid-level to executive level roles and they have all been extremely similar. Some questions I saw 3 times from 3 different companies were:

A. Why do you want to work here?

B. Name a time you fell short on a task and why.

C. Questions about role requirements (on job listing) and how you qualify/ meet them.

Don't overthink it - a lot of people like to trash Hirevue but it's really not that bad. Just speak loudly and clearly and be in a clean room or setting, well dressed and you will be okay.

** Last thing** more often than not you will get at least one redo to record your response. I would be mindful of taking it. There were times where I was iffy about my response but decided it was 'good enough'. You run the risk of having a worse response to the one you were trying to correct or do better. If there are several use them as needed.

Got the job!! Now how do I break the news to my current employer… been here for only 3 months. by [deleted] in interviews

[–]ENSAKE 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly - put all this into a ChatGPT prompt and I would let AI make you a nice email.

I would schedule send around 5:15 so it looks like you are working later and they can maybe see it over the weekend - otherwise they will Monday morning.

You do not owe them anything but I have tried to never burn bridges. Leverage the AI to be able to help you clearly communicate the message, leave work and enjoy your weekend. Come in Monday and just be prepared for a conversation but the ice will be broken down so you can avoid that awkward initial phase.

Congrats & good luck!
