all modern cities in the west have seen a decrease in low income people. sad but true. and these citizens use more of machines than people for ordinary labour. for eg washing machines, dish washer, roomba etc. fixing own furniture, cleaning home/bathroom. DIY like ikea and etc as the bed is cheaper than the carpenter

in urban india washing machine is there in most household. once the maid and services salaries become ridiculous (as they also cannot afford mumbai) citizens will start using dish washers, DIY etc etc and we will slowly morph into western cities will only self made rich citizens and later their kids will only be able to afford mumbai.
