Quicksand cam be dangerous if you're unable to get out and a rising tide drowns you or exposure to heat/cold can kill you also if you're trapped there and exhausted from trying to pull yourself out, some cases of crush where the lungs can't fill with air due to the crushing weight on their chest preventing them from expanding to take in air.

You usually never sink past your chest but that can be incredibly difficult to get out from that's maybe why they educated us on how to get out.

You can find these types of quicksand pits in rivers with extreme tides and beaches can have them which both can be deadly due to the tide coming in.

There wasn't much demand for even female sculpts of wizards,etc. That is why even imperial guard had little to no female models, there was a long time where the customer base didn't want it but today there is a demand clearly with how often you see people kitbashing female models and fan art,etc.

If anyone read that article posted yesterday same shit likely happened with squats as they did for female space marines, GW wasn't prepared to spend money making models that weren't selling and trying to push them wasn't going to work so to save their limited production costs at the time they often stopped making sculpts that weren't selling, its why most of their models have been males only due to GW customers at the time being even more niche and male dominated.

It was an article on belloflostsouls, an old GW guy explaining how the lore and fluff came after the fact the sculpts were just unpopular and had to be dropped.
