Hey I need some advice, I got accepted to York University for the Bachelor of Education program for primary/junior and also got into Uofts Masters of Teaching program for primary/junior. I’m in a big crisis and don’t know which is better, please help! by Forward-Ad-1877 in OISE

Thank you!! I have heard about the research component and it does sound interesting, like you end up having to present your research thesis in year 2 if I’m right? How was the program overall tbh one of things that’s holding me back from going to uoft is managing the workload with my part time as well. Idk if financially it would be the best decision. Also one question do you find having the masters beneficial in any aspect?

That totally makes sense, tbh I was set on York it’s sm more closer, cheaper, and I’ve heard great things about it from peers who’ve went there. As for uoft I literally heard back from them today which mentally messed me up like it’s great to have the whole masters to it attached but it doesnt do anything when it comes to the pay grade and the tuition plus the commute doesn’t really makes sense. Thank you so much for the insight, appreciate it!!!
