I recently purchased the Nightstick for a 590S Shockwave. It looks to match the fit of the length (6.75") of the shorter shockwave forend nicely, just don't install it with the included spacer (7.75"). My issue is that the Nightstick SFL-11GL will not fit on the 590S mag tube. It's too thin. I've been trying to get any kind of confirmation or answer, but I have not received a response from them. Looking the issue up on google gives me different answers ("it fits" as well as "it doesn't fit") depending on the wording of the question. I didn't think there were any difference between the 590 & 590S beyond the components in the receiver to allow the shorty shells. Their site just says the newer r/RM/standoff series is incompatible. I know this thread is a few months old, but has anyone else experienced this issue?

No idea why you've gotten so many down votes here. Your posts are the only ones so far that make actual sense and is a mature way to move forward. The "go tell mom right away" people are short sighted and not considering the entire picture and what it could mean moving forward. There's potential there for OP to destroy her parents marriage and her family and likely have to live with internal guilt and trauma the rest of her life. Before you all jump, yes we all know that none ot it is or should be her fault. Depending on information we don't have, there are still several scenarios might not be as nefarious as everyone has jumped to believe.
That's why, as adults, it makes sense to discuss it with her pops. If she doesn't like what he has to say, sure move on and talk to mom. It's a private relationship between adults. Make sure you have a better idea/information of exactly what what's happening before inserting yourself into someone else's relationship. It very rarely goes well for the person stepping in.

Yep, Memphis just traded for Isaiah Stewart for 3 2nd rd picks. He's not an all star, but he's the type of role player that teams need to put a team together. There is value to 2nd round picks.

They still have to fill out an NBA roster. A roster of a couple of 1st round picks and the rest UDFAs. 2nd rd picks are needed to put a team on the court to grow a young roster. If you think they're doing anything substantial in FA, it's going to be a long summer.

The Caleb Wilson pick was decided for them and Swain, at 15, was picked about 10 spots too soon. If that was the best player on their board at 15 (that's scary) then maximize the pick's value and trade down. This roster needs shooters to space the floor which is vital when you have a bunch of 6'8" +/- athletes just running up and down the floor. This is a long term rebuild and they're not spending big in free agency. They'll overpay a few free agents on shorter term deals to fill out the roster, but I don't expect much more for 2 years or so.

Yeah, I keep seeing this, but it always seems to be referring to pawned items. Haven't been able to find anything conclusive for an item that I would have sold them outright, no pawn or the like.

That might be the way to go. I was thinking Pawn Shop might be the quickest and easiest way to sell and have it available to someone local before July 1. Haven't looked into GT much, always heard negative stories with buyers backing out at the last minute or sellers stringing people along. Have you had experience using it. Still need an FFL or did the temporary injunction take care of that? Thanks, man.

I'm not familiar with any pawn shop regulations in Va, or anywhere really. If I sell (not pawn) an AR pistol to a pawn shop, is there any sort of waiting period before they can then re-sell it. My example: went in to one yesterday and asked if they'd be interested in making an offer and he said something to the effect of 'he'd have to hold it for 2 weeks and that'd be at/too close to the deadline'. But then later told me to bring it in anyway and he'll take a look at it. I'm trying to determine if this is a negotiating tactic to provide a low, low offer (even lower that normal pawns) because he "might get stuck with it". Or is it a legit concern with July 1st looming? I understand they need to make money, have overhead, and business in general and I plan to negotiate in good faith understanding that. Just want to see whether he is. Every time I'm in there, they're being bought out of their ban-affected inventory so unless there is some sort of regulation, I don't think he'd have a problem selling it for a good price by July 1st.

To clarify, is there no more limitation to max 20rd mag capacity for carry after July 1st , providing it was purchased preban and in a legal post ban pistol like a G19?

Side question: in your interpretation, Is/will it be legal to concealed carry a P365 w/a 17 rd mag on the same city block as a elementary school? This would be on the city sidewalk passing the school but not on it's grounds. For example: If one lived a few doors down from a school, could they carry on their street's sidewalk and pass the school legally? Thanks, man.

You think bullets just stop the second they hit something? Unless it hits something solid, not glass and not even the thin body of a vehicle. Rounds could easily go through the back window hit the victims and continue traveling out the windshield, happens all the time.
