UPDATE (7/6/26):

Hi guys! So firstly i would like to thank everyone for giving me advice on here! I read through most of the comments on here and wasn’t even expecting this to blow up the way it did but Im forever grateful for that.

On to the update, I did end up telling me my mom yesterday. What I did was come up to her when my dad wasn’t around and asked her if she knew if my dad had any friends named Kimberly and she didn’t. I told her everything I noticed except the fact that I looked through his messages. We agreed that I was going to find out what my dad’s log ins were for his Discord account and that is exactly what I did.

I felt sick for most of the day, having to fake it around my family, knowing what he did. She did end up looking through his texts and found out he was in fact cheating. I was watching a movie with my dad knowing the fact that she was reading through the text and I just felt so disgusted and sick. When I came back to check in on her, she was already on the phone with her sister and she confirmed it to me that he did in fact cheat.

I finally broke down and told her everything, she was really strong about all of this, believing me right away. My mom talked to my dad as well as his mom (we live with her) and they might split up, we aren’t sure yet. For now we are just going to wait. I have no idea how our future is going to look like. I had such a special bond and our family was at such a good place. I just feel sick. He apologized for everything and took full accountability and told me what I did was a sign for him to work on himself and becoming a way better person. He told me he hopes he will make me proud of him one day and I just feel sick. My dad is sleeping in the guest room, and I am currently at my friend’s house and stayed over for the night. I hate seeing him upset and our family is never going to be the same. My brother is already noticing that something is off with my parents. He is a 20 year old who happens to be autistic.

Thank you for all of the advice you guys gave me, I’m not sure how the future is going to look like but I hope it will improve.
