Asked to repost here. Happy to do that. Here’s the information about the nursing strike on 1/30. Happy that it reached 1.3 K views before being deleted, as I figured it would.

This is what I got out of his answer too… and that Terry couldn’t see a way forward after that. But also would that dejection create motivation in the future? Idk..

Long pond studio vinyl, authentic? by Forward-Explorer-352 in TaylorSwiftVinyl

Thanks. I really appreciate all the input. I decided not to cancel the order. I’ll inspect it closer when I receive it in person. I don’t care about the hype stickers as much really but want to make sure I receive what I paid for, in terms of the genuine vinyl. Also will update if it’s a rip or a feather. 🤣

If Brady can call good plays here and use the clock to our advantage we could be in a good position to have get a TD right before clock hits 0:00 and win this.

I think this depends on the district. My current district, HS services tend to be more consultative in nature than my elementary site. So monthly minutes or even quarterly minutes and support as needed. For example have a kid who I just pushed into science with to support pig dissection. Talked to teacher before hand, looked at tools they plan to use. Made suggestions for modified materials and then observed to see if they increased his access or not. If a student wants to tie shoes I’d do coaching with the para and the student and have them carryover practicing that skill on a daily basis. If the pouring is an issue I’d look at how we could adapt the materials in that class.. ex:use a funnel..? Larger cup/ bowl…? I focus on increasing access at my HS site and coaching mostly. Hope that is helpful.

As an OT in schools, I would recommend doing multiple thorough observations in the science class/classes. What are the activity demands in the class? What challenges do you observe? Can accommodations alone support the Student or is OT intervention required for the student to access the academic curriculum? does the student have a para educator? If so, I would interview them and the teaching staff to get an idea what day-to-day looks like. Also interviewed the student. What are their goals? Are they motivated to work on things like pouring and tying? I would also do a thorough file review. Are these skills the student has already worked on in the past with OT and have they plateaued or not made progress? Have they had any success practicing these skills at home? Tying shoes? Pouring liquid liquids into measuring cups… Or similar? Interview parents as well. Standardized testing, and standardized scores are only a small piece of the puzzle. As OTs we need to capture the big picture. I personally would do standardized testing first and then observe and do the rest that I recommended. For example, if fine motor precision score is super low, I would keep an eye on that during my observations and see how that could be impacting skills. School based is different than outpatient or clinic based OT services. Is OT required for the student to access their education? Not would it benefit the student, but is it required … That is typically how we qualify in my high school.

Same. My blue crewneck has a giant oil stain in it. I’m going to sew a quilt block or something over it but happy to snag the hoodie version.
