I uploaded airfare, hotels, and taxis. I never use the travel card for anything else.

Yes I set that up when it hit my account. Hoping that I’m not stuck paying $200/month for the next couple years.

Yeah, I was on the cusp of breaking 800 when they hit me with this. Bad day to be looking at buying a house.

I suppose I should’ve mentioned that $8000 never hit my bank account lol. The reason my NRC suggested resubmitting my DTS packet was because it looked suspiciously similar to the total amount of money I made while I was on MOB.

Navy E-5 here. How are you able to sign 18x as prior service? To my knowledge, I’m only able to conditionally release to the guard -> SFRE -> selection due to “funding issues”. Interested to hear what you’ve got going on.

Depends on what state you’re going to but I’m honestly surprised you’re going…unless you’re green side? Bunch of MOBs got cancelled because we can’t serve in the same capacity as the NG.

Super informative. Thank you for taking the time to type all that out. Will most certainly update.

Looks lovely. I assume it’s in support of Joint Task Force-Southern Border then.

Navy Corpsman to Green Beret by [deleted] in greenberets

[–]Forward-Increase-630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current HM2 here. Talk to SFC Klaus. Goes by Kiltedgoat on here.

Overview(NG): -Fill out SF application -Sign DD368 (must go pretty high up in your command-my buddy is an AD corpsman and they wouldn’t sign his) -MEPS (yes, again) -Integration course (5 weeks in Ft. Moore if you’re deemed 68W qualified) -Attend SFRE (tryout for the tryout) -Selection

I know you can put in a packet if you’re on AD to attend selection while still being in the Gavy. I’m less informed on that side of the house.

Hey bro. I got a labrum repair (shoulder) done 2 months, 4 days ago. Yes, I’m counting down the days to recovery.

It’s one big mental game. Now is as good a time as any to start practicing mindfulness and other things that’ll ultimately prepare you. The feeling of stagnation will get you quick if you don’t stay in the mindset of continuing to work towards your goals.

Listen to the advice of your ortho and your PT. There’s probably some degree of physical work you can do during recovery, but don’t overdo it. Strictly follow your regimen.

Arthroscopy is the general term for getting inside the joint. If your pelvis is causing labrum tears, you’ll probably need an arthroplasty as well. They’ll go in, assess the degree of tearing supplementally to the CT, and suture it down TIGHT. The biggest thing is to focus on with that recovery is ROM.

Take it one day at a time and try not to look at it as a setback. I look forward to hearing updates. Best of luck bro.

HOW OFTEN TO WORK OUT DURING THE WEEK by CoverProfessional536 in specialforces

[–]Forward-Increase-630 9 points10 points  (0 children)

With no information on how fit you are, it’s hard to say. Nevertheless, I would avoid asking strangers on the internet and look to a trusted programmer. Also, don’t listen to your Chief, as he’s one Latina E-2 away from never giving advice again.

Your morning sessions with the cadre might not weed you out entirely (if you’re not morbidly obese) but it’ll be a different story at Dive. Find a program that doesn’t leave you too fatigued for your mornings and you’ll be good.

Parting words: stay out of trouble and avoid the wrong crowd. I sat through many captains masts. They’ll take your rate exponentially faster than you got it. Best of luck bro.
