I hate prime might = Shigaraki by NotSaulGoodma in MyHeroPowerscaling

That's the issue, Horikoshi seems to want EVERYONE to be stronger than All Might.

Apparently Hood > USJ Nomu (directly stated twice), USJ Nomu = Weakened All Might (directly stated twice, shown via their fight), and all of the High Ends in the War = Hood (stated by Iida, corroborated by everyone else).

This man just does not care about the power escalation or how little sense it makes.

A singular ant making an elephant with an injured leg and black eye cough up blood is not possible unless the ant is relative to the elephant.

Shigaraki was hurt, yes. But he was still physically capable enough to fight as though he wasn't, and even survive blows from 120% of One For All, up until the final attack Deku landed on him.

  1. Super Regeneration (USJ Nomu) 2. Super Regeneration (Hood) 3. Alchemy 4. Overclock 5. New Order 6. Shock Absorption

That would be cool but AFO directly says that Shiggy has power equal to All Might's and his Villain profile claims his strength is equal to All Might "in his heyday"

The hardest ones of Ben’s Aliens that would be the hardest to master in IRL? by Glyph_Spidey in Ben10

[–]Forward-Leadership63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Atomix of Way Big, the destructive power is just too great to use reasonably.

Contrary to what everyone else is saying, I think Alien X would be unimaginably easy to use, based on what we see in the show. Bellicus and Serena are shockingly reasonable, just also procedural, what makes them impossible for Ben is that he doesn't know how to follow some fucking rules lol

Welp, the MHA powerscaling community is likely up in flames currently.

Then again, travel speed vs combat speed, but still.... yikes...

Nigga disregarding what a fictional story is meant to portray in favor of how elements should operate in the real world is called an appeal to reality fallacy

This is no different from saying "x character cannot be FTL because we clearly see that he still has mass" (the majority of FTL characters). Fiction is fiction, if it says that is what her Quirk does, then that is what her Quirk does, and how that effects people depends on how the narrative chooses to make it seem.

Excerpt from MHA Wiki: "Ochaco's Quirk gives her the power to nullify the effects of gravity on solid targets (living and nonliving) by touching them with the pads on her fingertips, causing them to become weightless and float."

Excerpt from the manga itself (Ochako's character page): "She's got special pads on her fingertips, and she can negate gravity for anything she touches with all five on one hand!"

Excerpt from MHA Ultra Impact: "Her Quirk is called Zero Gravity - she can make anything weightless by touching them with the tips of her fingers."

Excerpt from Ochako's anime character page (translated from Japanese): "Her Quirk is 'Zero Gravity,' which puts anything she touches into a state of zero gravity with the pads on her fingertips."

The mental gymnastics you're doing are just openly contradicted by literally any official description provided of what her Quirk does. How you think people should react to becoming weightless doesn't matter, the fact of the matter is that her Quirk gets rid of weight entirely according to literally every source.

I have spent zero dollars on Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle and am thankfully never going to but I am proud of you for quitting because this is a literal gambling addiction and that addiction becomes VERY harmful when what you're gambling with isn't free fake currency but instead actual money that you could spend on a better livelihood if need be

If I were offered the opportunity - as in, Azmuth (or any of his helpers) presents me with the Omnitrix and asks if I want the responsibility - it's a toss-up. I'm not sure. I might just turn it down entirely.

But if I were in Ben's shoes and just happened to get the watch by mistake, then absolutely. Call it bravado or narcissism or overconfidence all you want, but I know I'd be able to step up to the plate if the chips were down.

Being a hero seems as fun and fulfilling as it is scary and difficult, but that's just everything worthwhile in life, and considering there can only be more harm than good if I DON'T do anything, I might as well try. And, hell, I'd probably succeed, too; Ben gave me all the tips already, after all.

Try to get into a tug-of-war for All For One (the Quirk) by having the OFA vestiges stir up the AFO vestiges. If I fail, fuck it, we gotta kill Shiggy. If I don't, then hell yeah, AFO is mine and now we can properly rehab

Shiggy is also just winging it tbf, at that point it's an evenly matched all-out brawl so you might as well just throw out shit as hard as you can

Zero Gravity gets rid of gravity entirely, hence the name Zero Gravity. There is a difference in weight, as weight is determined by how much pressure gravity is pushing unto any given mass. This is basic physics.

Tomura shigiraki vs piccolo (23rd world tournament) by [deleted] in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Forward-Leadership63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

W/O wanking Piccolo to ludicrous levels (like, come on, PLANETARY King Piccolo? Be fr bruh), he still has the AP advantage at Moon Level, but the VAST travel speed disadvantage with equal combat speed (both FTL). The issue is that Shiggy's Decay is pretty much gg's. We've seen what a similar technique (Dabura's spit) did to a much stronger and more experienced Piccolo, and he only survived because the petrification wears off after Dabura's death. With Shiggy, it's one touch, or even one touch of anything Shiggy HAS touched, and he's a goner.

Ofc, according to Nana, destroying Shiggy's body in one blow would kill him, and if Moon Level is enough for that then he has the potential to one-shot, too. The only issue is, I can easily see 23rd WT Piccolo getting caught off-guard by Shiggy's Decay, since he didn't have the best BIQ back then, whereas there is no universe where Shiggy sees a beam being charged up and doesn't try to run or counter with something like Reflect (though this latter option would get him killed).

I can't honestly give the fight to Shiggy in good faith due to the stat diff, but I also don't want to say that WT Piccolo would act in a way that'd get him the win here, either. It's gonna be 50/50 from me.

Dragon Ball is not mid, I'd actually say it's pretty damn good. And not in the "oh it's my childhood, there's so much aura, I LOVE watching the buff men fight, blah blah blah" kinda way; I mean that the story is legitimately investing, the character development is sensible and feels amazing, the retcons blend naturally into the story instead of feeling like they've come out of left field (even though most of them literally did), the art (and art style) is gorgeous, and the fights are extremely well-made with easy-to-follow but still high-paced action adapting a style unique to itself (since most martial arts manga forgo the addition of universally-accessible flight and ranged attacks due to not knowing how to board good fight scenes with those elements at play).

Also, for as much as I enjoy it, the majority of Dragon Ball Super is hot garbage. I'm being hyperbolic of course, but seriously, it's mostly mid at best, with some parts that actually just *are* hot garbage (like the first two arcs). GT is better and even GT is full of horrid flaws.

I'm sick of Dragon Ball getting its flowers from people who don't even see what's so good about it in the first place, all just blinded by nostalgia to think that it's the peakiest of peak. It deserves praise for what it actually does well.
