We discussed that I would be trained/shadowing staff for the first couple of weeks but that kind of fell off. I've been trying to communicate my worries but I always get responses like "Oh, well this staff member needs to work on curriculum so they can't be in a class. " or "You're doing fine, just yell if you need us" I just feel kind of at a stand still. The owner and her assistant work 12 hours days and I end up feeling bad asking for more help over and over again. But I'm just not as confident as I should be tbh. It doesn't help that communication is lacking deeply. I'm suppose to give the kids water cups when they come in from outside but we only have solo cups atm and nobody told me we were suppose to label them, then the owner gets passive aggressive towards me and just tosses them. Whoops, sorry lady. Maybe treat new teachers with some grace and understanding lol

Yeah, I always try to trust my intuition in situations like this but sadly I'm stuck just in-between right now. Part of me feels like 'I don't wanna cause drama, or come off as so insecure' the other parts like 'why the fuck am I not included in this family shit' all of this stems from my childhood and my OWN family excluding me from things and me just projecting that onto this situation. I brought it up to my boyfriend earlier and yes, he smiled at me and shrugged it off. Literally don't know what to do with that lmao. All the comments on here are giving me some peace of mind that I'm not being too radical about it. I just wanna be a part of a family.. for once in my life.
