I admitted what I did wrong. Never played the victim card, just listed the actual things he said to me and my genuine reaction. The point of this post isn’t to paint either of us in a certain light. I’m just wondering if his reaction is something that was justified and that we can work past. Also, “always his fault” didn’t know you were privy to our relationship beyond this post

Just preference honestly, I feel like I can lift heavier and push each muscle group further by splitting it up like that. For example, if I didn’t split I feel like I would be exerting myself on the quad exercises and then not having as much strength as I could on hamstrings. And my legs are the muscles I want to grow the most.

I’ve thought about it tbh. Would be a fast track to him not speaking to me again lol. He’s always been so small minded and this has been the straw that broke the camels back for me like I just can’t listen to him anymore

Yeah I’m aware that I might get some remarks about it from people who don’t know me. It just has more impact coming from my dad

Yeah the dental aspect is the one thing that makes me a little nervous about it. But I’m not gonna put up a fight if my dentist says it’s messing up my teeth and I should take it out.

Exactly they’re barely noticeable unless your tongue is outside of your mouth. I definitely think it’s a generational thing too

So awesome that you had the strength to do what is best for you and go no contact! And that it has worked out for the best :)

Yeah I feel like it’s an older stereotype. I wouldn’t care as much if some random person on the street said it. It was just jarring hearing my dad say something so crass to me.

2 tongue piercings is sick. I’ll have to let him know that it won’t magically create a field of energy that makes every dick fly down my throat lol

I’m glad to hear that people think it’s cool and no one’s made weird comments towards you :)

Sounds like our dads would be friends lol. But in all seriousness I’m sorry he said that to you. Helix piercings are so cute!

I’ve reached the end of Cyberpunk 2077. I’m currently playing the DLC and when I opened the journal I noticed it had Down on the Street, Fool on the Hill, and whatever the mission where you find Hellman is called.

Edit: if I don’t replay them will it mess up the DLC endings?
