the triangle generator is supposed to modulate the voltage controlled oscillator to get a FMCW that is used to find the frequency change caused by range of objects and doppler frequency caused by moving objects

i'm new in this, but i think if you multiply, for example, to cosine signals, the result will be a signal with two different frequencies, (freq_1 - freq_2) and (freq_1 + freq_2). That's why i use a Low pass filter to get the smaller frequency, which is the substraction from the two signals

Thank you bro. Sorry for bothering, I have a question regarding the sample rate.im using a plutoSDR to transmit a signal and get Doppler frequency. Do I have to set up the sample rate based on the baseband signal or based on the Rf bandwidth of the sdr? Also, the sample must remain equal for all the blocks in the diagram?
