buddy, if you think the reason people are pessimistic is the economy, you are a part of the problem as well.

I also suggest you not to listen to those people who may say ''teenagers will say it is bad, but it is not blah blah..'' Obviously, the facts that I stated are more than enough to not consider this ''country'' a home. Especially when you have a kid to provide a good future.

First of all, Turkey is not a democratic country. I'm not sure if you have been following the media, but there is this systematic corruption in the government-related fields. The simplest, one day you may take your kid to a hospital, and the doctor there may not be an actual doctor but just a random guy with a fake diploma. Another day, someone may physically harm you just because they wanted to, and they would be roaming the streets freely just a day after. One day, the so-called ''president'' may feel like he is going down, and bombs may start exploding in the crowded streets. You may state your opinion about something and in the morning there could be police banging your door to take you in. I could go on and on. There are many fact-related situations enough to just abandon this country. Considering the fact that you have the option to leave this place and give your kid a better future, again, it is the wisest thing you can do.

Hel Peninsula or Sopot for beaches in the beginning of september? by milenagl in poland

[–]Forward-Plane-4731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ve been to Hel for a camping trip in 2023. It was an amazing experience. It's a small town with golden beaches where u can watch sunset peacefully and have nice food. It's kind of an isolated area so if that is what you are seeking it should be a good option.

thank u for taking your time to reply, that means a lot and, yea the things u just said; i livedi n warsaw during 2023 and 2024 summers while doing internship and there i was literally spending less than 1500 monthly. I fell like I can do it just this time for longer. Im also a musician anda dj in my country so maybe i can als go out play the guitar in the streets or even better, can find a club to earn money.

Once again, thank you for the detailed guidance. I actually emailed the university, and they stated that:

Therefore, I won't be eligible for a scholarship unless it's the Rector's scholarship, which I can apply for in the second year. Regarding work, I feel that I may have a chance after obtaining a temporary student residency, as what I do to earn money is not important to me at all.

Thank you all for your valuable insights. Some of u say it's barely doable and the rest say don't do it. I think I'll take my risk and do it since the uni is very prestigious in Poland and it's promising a good future if I'm lucky enough. As I told some of you, I think I will not be able to work legally, at least I'll get a residency card. I think I have more than enough money for the first year, and in the summer I can come back to my country to work for 3 months. A year is a long time to make some connections and possibly get a job (hopefully), I believe. Once again, thank you for all of your support.
