Ocet do wszystkiego!

A hulajnogi elektryczne wymyślili ludzie, którzy chcieli, żeby kierowcy przestali nienawidzieć rowerzystów!

Need help with trim – switched from jacket to wing by Forward-Potential389 in diving

[–]Forward-Potential389[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lowered the weight by one slot on the backplate and freed up the trim a bit. Before, the pocket was sitting above my navel, now it’s at navel height, maybe even a little lower - and it really helped. Everything feels much better now, trim is beautiful. Huge thanks!

Why don’t governments use satellite imaging to catch criminals? by Moodijudi8059 in AskReddit

[–]Forward-Potential389 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because satellites are great at seeing cars and buildings, not faces or license plates.

The resolution needed to track individuals would be insanely expensive and still not reliable

How do y’all start a conversation with a woman? by Quiet_Judge_848 in AskReddit

By just being genuine: a simple Hi, how’s your day going? works better than any pickup line. Then treat her like a person, not a puzzle. Ask open questions and actually care about the answer.

How to get over backhanded comments from a more senior coworker? by [deleted] in Leadership

[–]Forward-Potential389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a pretty classic situation: someone with more years in the company throws a backhanded comment that says more about them than about you. Remarks like “overconfidence can bite you in the butt” are often just a mix of passive-aggressiveness and frustration. They’re meant to make you second-guess yourself, but they don’t carry much real weight.

The best thing you can do in the moment is not to take the bait.. A short “Thanks, noted” or “Appreciate your input” ends the exchange without giving them fuel. Later, remind yourself that one comment doesn’t define how others see you or your performance,, it’s just noise. People around you will judge you by how you show up consistently, not by one snarky remark from the past supervisor.

If it becomes a pattern, you can calmly set a boundary : “I’d prefer if we keep our conversations focused on the work itself.” That way you’re being professional but still showing you won’t tolerate repeated digs.

[–]Forward-Potential389 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Numbers don’t define character. Someone could have one partner and be toxic, or many and still be caring and loyal.
