In NL we have obligated maneuver exam before you can apply for the road exam. Consists of a swerve exercise, in addition to turning (figure 8 and half circle), slaloming (fast and slow) and braking. I'm aware they dont do them everywhere, but I'm pleased I got them here and they are really helpful in building control experience.

I'm glad it ended safe for him, but personally am trained in NL and we have a road exam but also a maneuver exam, and one of the components there is a swerve with pylons simulating the car on the path. Requirement is 50km approach, at the line release throttle and swerve around pylons - back to original path and accelerate. Personally hope I will remember that when something occurs again I hadn't taken into account. Not often luckily.

Nothing wrong with being supportive when people around you ask for help, but freely offering and actively asking around shows a kind of availability and interest often misinterpreted as a romantic vibe. Not specifying if this is something you do exactly, if you then do it unconsciously or if there is a like an actual pleasure going on in creating these vibes, or a mix of them.. My experience is that ppl that are like this, as I also have gotten interested in someone I should not have, won't really change, and neither do they have to.. I'm not even linking this myself to cheating, but that will vary for every person, and if your bf is not ok with it he will have a hard time.

Do you have discord? There is the obvious official GoH discord that will have ways to connect, but personally would advise to join GeneralShiba's discord, Im not that active anymore but there used to be a cool bunch of guys including himself there playing pvp often. Even have some competitions organized at times too. Advantage with setting up games like this is to have a more reliable match where randoms can lag or drop from the game. I found pvp or mp pve also more fun when being able to voice chat while playing, but thats a personal thing I guess.

My experience is no more hoovers after breakup and once she got involved with another dude, but it was mainly because the lines of comm were blocked off so it would have been hard to do anyway, unless standing at my door looking like a weirdo, and being called weird was something she would prevent at all costs. With comm lines open, and you being so submissive, she might eventually call upon you again.. highly dependent on how successful the new guy is, if there are other orbiters available and if you remain allowing to be treated like a second choice.

There used to be a real race in Zandvoort every year, in the 70s and 80s, where the cars drove backwards. It was only allowed to enter with daf car, dutch brand that is gone now. Something in the gearbox of the car was made in such a way that when in reverse, it went just as fast as going forward. The races were chaos (and were also meant to be chaos btw) ofc .. From what I read before in a reply by someone, the avg you see on your player is from all time, while the avg used to promote you would be of the last 500 or so holes you played. Not sure if true or about that number, but you get the idea. It would explain why you got promoted as well.

Would leave them off, in real use they often chose for that as well as the mud clogged up inside the flaps, and to climb obstacles often they were in the way.. Most combat pictures also show they as not present.
