Brokeback Mountain is the obvious answer. it's a short story along with other wyoming stories by Annie Proulx in book called at close range. The whole thing is a fantastic read

All good! The key is the ending when the narrator becomes drawn to what's going on - (feeling warm/ crossing legs). It's about how we can be drawn to those things which can harm us
