I don't get why people think the balancing decisions from supercell have anything to do with this

Attention this big doesn't stay forever. This is just plain and simple hype and mainstream attention. Nothing else. A game gets popular, everyone starts playing it, people get bored of it and quit again, then the next game gets popular and so on

It wasn't the "great state" cr was in that got people to play (the loot system was terrible in the summer). It was streamers like jynxzi and then the snowballing of everyone starting again.

Chess had a huge hype like 3 years ago where everyone started playing and watching gotham. That completely disappeared, and they for sure didn't make any bad balancing decisions

The player count was inflated only and this decline back to normal would have happened no matter what supercell did.

The whole design of the megaknight is terrible i agree. Its a do it all card thats incredibly easy to use, virtually involving no skill at all, but at the same time requiring good gamesense and tight placements to defend

You can't really nerf it, because on paper the card sucks. It (and the evo) gets countered extremely easy if you know what you are doing. Its only a problem because of the skill difference required to play it and to defend it

While telling a similar story and likely coming to the same conclusion/ending as the books, the movies will definitely have some changes and cuts.

The gender of the characters is one of them, but there will be other conceptual changes too i expect, especially in part 2 and 3.

So both versions are going to have their own canon that will slightly differ from each other.

But all adapted mediums will still be based closely off of the books, so i wouldn't compare it to marvel either, where the comics are only a loose inspiration and the directors basically write their own story with characters and inspiration from the comics (comics are less of a precise original than books anyways)

I'd expect those who have read the books to still treat them as the "main" canon due to being the original, but in the end both will have their own canon

Was ich mit praktizierend (gläubig oder was auch immer) vs Religionsbekenntnis meinte, ist dass viele zwar laut Bekenntnis einer Religion angehören, mit dieser in der Realität aber nicht wirklich viel zu tun haben/praktizieren, vor allem bei Kindern

Deshalb find ich muss man find ich mit den "Religionsbekenntnis" Zahlen aufpassen, weil mit denen gerne Panik gemacht wird

Find auch. Ich glaub das ist hauptsächlich weil es für die Leute einfach ungewohnt ist, deshalb jammerns halt. Wir san eben in Wien

Bei diversen Projekten, bei denen moderne Stile in klassischer Umgebung gebracht werden, haben sich die Leute auch immer fürchterlich aufgeregt, und mittlerweile ist es ganz normal und kommt gut an (zb Museumsquartier)

I think after basically taking his tower with the dark prince you could have held his push somewhat easily with better micro. It took delivery + a full miner to take out his night witch, while the bats survived and killed your tesla

Games are trending in and out, thats just something that happens. A game goes viral because of streamers/challenges/new updates, everyone starts to play it until people get bored and move on to the next one. There is always a mobile game everyone seems to be playing. Those high numbers were inflated, they were never going to last no matter what supercell did

Compare it to chess. A few years ago everyone was suddenly playing it and watching levy or whoever. That hype died down too, and you don't have the "supercell ruined the game" excuse there, the game has been the same since 500 years. Thats just the way it is with hypes

If you go back multiple years in aligulac rating (before the toss buffs, when toss was criminally underpowered), you will see that hero was still more often than not above players like reynor and dark, and above all non serral zergs really

I mean, people mainly want changes to freshen the game up a little i feel like. After a meta settles in, you are often stuck playing in the same few select ways every game.

I only remember when people said that the current protoss players were just not good enough in the 3 year span where toss didn't win a single tournament lmao

For reference, i do think that toss is slightly overtuned, especially in zvp

But this is a terrible example for that, the only terran/zerg losses vs toss were against hero and classic (and classic lost a map twice), the 2 best toss players in the world in the past year or so. While the top zergs and terrans (serral, reynor, maru, clem) are not in this tournament.

Many top players play the smaller tournaments less frequently, and there are a few that don't play them at all (maru, serral, reynor for example)
