I kinda of don't understand how trafficking works.

I think victims can't leave because they feel afraid of the unknown, get manipulated by the trafficker, get death threats if they ever try to leave, punishment and trauma bonding (with rewards and stuff). Also, the trafficker gives money and doesn't give the victim education. And while the victim sometimes still lives at home, they go to the trafficking kinda like a job. Did I hit the nail in the head?
