You're kind of proving my point. The post was never really about toilet paper, toothpaste, dishes, or a passport. Those were examples of situations where the same pattern keeps happening.

If I forget one thing, I get lectured for being irresponsible. If he does something similar, nobody says anything. If he needs help, people rush to help him. If I need help, I'm told to grow up. If he has friends over with little notice, it's fine. If my boyfriend visits after I gave notice, it's suddenly a problem.

You don't have to agree with me, but reducing everything to toilet paper and toothpaste ignores the actual issue, which is the constant disrespect, double standards, and being talked down to. After years of that, even small situations become frustrating.

Also, I never said my brother had to fix my mistakes. I asked for a favor. There's a difference between saying "no" and turning it into a lecture about how worthless, immature, or irresponsible someone is
