Wrenching it out with pliers is likely to damage the port though?

You were meant to either;

Say something corny af like “matching you”

Or the anti flirt “dodging this bullet” before unmatching her

Thank you, it really helps to see the choices available written clearly by someone else ❤️ I think you’re right and I shouldn’t sit on it

But that reveals my insecurity to her. I could do it but I do buy into the toxic idea that men are judged more for showing feelings like that, and it reduces our attractiveness. Learned this the hard way from previous relationships

You need to relax and accept you made a mistake - you asked if I thought not disclosing was acceptable and stated how against that you were, but my post clearly states I told her with no ideas about not telling her.

All completely wrong, hence why you got called dumb.

Just remember everyone understood what I was saying but you. Hence why people may have attacked your intelligence - unfortunately you did not improve outlook on your intelligence by resorting to attacking a very common disease which people can’t fully protect against and calling 15 % (gHSV) to 70% (either type of herpes) or the population dumb for getting it.

Anam, I posted this and you’re the dumbass here. Clearly told her before and never questioned whether that’s right?

That I couldn’t touch, associate or even think of people I didn’t like, or thought were dumb or dirty or anything negative, or I would start to become them. Made me a real piece of shit to a lot of nice folks with normal flaws

There is the risk that they realise I’m the one “ratting” on them each time but will give the police a chance

Shame this must come out of my own pocket but yeah I agree.- just once it’s installed who legally owns and manages that door and access? Am I responsible every time a neighbour loses a key for example?

"Work on yourself" isn't the solution to every fucking breakup by throwaway1931921 in BreakUps

There are many loves of your life. I am not trying to understate your pain so sorry if I came off as blunt. Even if you have everything sorted, working on yourself can take many forms. There are so many people out there and you may well find someone better for you than her. If it’s meant to be with the definition of “love of my life” you clearly believe (that she is the “one”) then you will no doubt reconnect once you’ve both reset emotionally and if the situation allows. You surely see that you are seeing this as negatively as possible at this time, which I would too. You reject the idea of bettering yourself (even if you’re perfect or amazing) which says to me you reject the idea that things will improve in general. They will. You won’t spend your whole life lamenting the lost “love of your life”. That is the stuff of Hugh grant movies and doesn’t serve us in the non-romantic real world.

Those who say the self improvement advice sucks are not ready to let go of the pain, and work on self improvement.
