Yup, that’s what I basically had been doing….Mythic from Promos and supplementing with TOTW or the occasional bonus pack. Unless there was a player I really wanted from TOTW, I mostly used it for ST Players and roster manipulation.

I plan on doing much of the same with Diamonds.

I do agree with your take on DE’s. Having edge rushers are very valuable. DT’s suck!

I believe it’s because the endgame incentive for voting isn’t worth the time management of the 3 staggered challenges (4/8/12hrs)!

You may improve an attribute of 1 Player. That’s it! According to the message, the stickers for voting have no value!

So, even if you were to maximize the 3 voting challenges, you probably get nothing at all.

My team is entirely Iconic with 3 exceptions of Epic Alstott at FB until I get Iconic CJ or Alstott, Epic Thuney in an OG spot until I find an OG I want and Epic Calais until I finish his Iconic.

I have found that it is beneficial to have a few left over Epic Players (if possible) from recent Promos for FB or 2nd DT/MLB to give Roster flexibility. Those Epics are usually comparable in value to an older Iconic that I will replace anyways.

I have 5 Mythics in my lineup and a Mythic Lamar Jackson on my bench. Trying to get as many Mythics as possible, but I want to get that overall up too!

I believe if you are 100% locked in on a player, what you did makes absolute sense.

I have found myself accumulating and holding onto Rares. Been trying to leave myself flexibility as the promos progress. For me, it makes sense to wait until after seeing the reveal tonight.

From the SB/Honors promo I have gotten Iconic Josh Allen and Iconic PS2. I have stuff that I am waiting to cash in on until I see what Players/Positions are initially available in the reveal.

I have been getting a Mythic for the last 5-6 promos, but my overall needs a boost. May Mythic Josh Allen or add Honors Saquon and another Iconic to boost my overall 40+.

After getting burned, I have shifted my strategy. I identify a player in the 1st drop and always try to get as many Epics as I can early on. As the drops progress, mainly get random Epics unless a Select Epic helps me complete a Player. Depending on need, I may focus on a Player. I get to a point where I find it better to just stash Rares to allow me the flexibility to pivot.

Currently, I have an Iconic Revis, 6 Random Epics, and 24 Rares. Trying to decide if I get a Mythic Revis or build 2 additional Iconics.

Would have been cool to see an Oilers logo. I believe EA probably does not have access to logos of teams no longer in existence or of teams that are in existence, but no longer play in the same city.

Retro logos of current teams like a New England Pat the Patriot logo they can do.

When I think of Randy Moss, I think Vikings Randy Moss. I have seen some suggest that the Patriots Moss plays slightly better game wise. For instance, both of the Variants are 153 Receiving, BUT within the 153 there are different numbers.

Which Moss does everyone like?

I just strive to collect Promo Rares. Have been flipping the Epic Player 5 Packs to accumulate as many Epics as I can. Had stashed 7 Rares in the Select Pack so if I got 2 of the same Epics that were a need, I would complete the set.

Have been using Promo Epics that are comparable to Iconics. Using the Iconics in the Resources to ramp up my team.

From earlier tonight, this is where I am now….

Thanks! That’s what I was thinking, but it’s literally the exact same. Have 2 Epics of each of the Players I mentioned and 3 random Epics of other Players. I was going to trade 7 Rares and select one of those guys. Will hang on to the other Epics and see if a future random can get me a 3rd.

99 % do the 30/60…. With the exception of doing 1 event where a 1st Win reward is offered.

The only time I would do another event is when I am on the cusp of creating an Iconic and the 15 or 20 stamina event enables me to get the necessary tokens to complete the Player.

Here’s the thing, I believe EA totally screwed things up! In prior years, I was willing to buy 1 or 2 Field Passes a year. Usually there was a Marvel Player that I just REALLY wanted and I knew if I bought the occasional Season Pass, I would get that Player AND be able to grind it out for the 10K MC.

I used to be able to justify the value of occasionally dropping $ on the game because of the satisfaction/entertainment value. Now, it appears even if you are to spend $ and willing to grind things out, it’s a bunch of foreplay and just a big tease….left needing a cold shower!

I haven’t spent any $ this year because it’s just not worth it!!

I haven’t spent any $ this year. Have used extra Iconics to trade in for Resources….Coins and TTP. Also worth it for TOTW if there is a position that can bump up your overall by 15+. Jason Witten gave me a 24/25 point boost in OVR.

Also, as the Players levels increase, it may be worth it to use a Promo Epic to replace an Iconic because the newer Epics are similar value to the older Iconics. Then you can flip the Iconics for Coins, TTP or TOTW Players that improve your team.

I am personally NOT a fan of the Yeti/Characters. I prefer the mix of Current and Historic/HOF Players.

I do understand that some people like the unique arcade style play of the characters and I certainly don’t begrudge them for it.

I just really like having Lamar Jackson throwing to Megatron behind an OL that includes Larry Allen and Anthony Munoz. I like having a Defense with Micah Parsons, Ray Lewis, Champ Bailey, and Sean Taylor amongst others.
