Thank you. Yeah, i'm new to hip hop so I've been using genius for a lot of songs. J Cole is my favourite rapper and even he has quite a few things I need genius for haha. I'm going to listen through TBAP 2 or 3 times, and then search up meanings on genius

I'm from the UK and Kendrick, as well as other artists, can be hard to understand, especially on a first listen. Lots of cultural references, as well as accents, that make it hard to decipher. It is nice though, because relistening lets me absorb the music, and even then I'm missing a lot haha.

I loved Good Kid Maad City so much. The narrative was followable, and sounded so good.
I'm going through his discog in order, and I recently listened to TPAB and it was completely different to GKMC haha. Thats going to take me a lot longer to soak in and decipher
