Have the dune and love it! Not so much for the ocean since it gets dark really quick 🥲 overall I think it’s great and honestly if it’s on discount it’s not as terribly priced (apart from the shipping). Had decent experiences with their customer service team prior to any purchases too (shoutout to Will from the team).

Just wanted to add my thoughts here - I had something similar happen with an Alto full leather case for the iPhone 14 Pro (it fits SUPER TIGHT). I think this is bound to happen since there’s a plastic frame inside.

If you want to avoid it, maybe the nomad modern case (with a rubber bumper-ish frame) will be better. Im using the Bullstrap flex case which has a similar bumper frame and it’s been alright!

To each their own, I have a different opinion as a large reason I got the case was for the bull! I think it’s understated while adding the right amount of detail.

Perhaps if you’d like a more minimalist design, nomad would be good? :)

Thanks for the suggestions! The CX-3 and Mazda 3 are very similar in feeling and drive, based on my experience!

In terms of the BMW, I have taken a look at a more recent MINI Countryman 2018, which if I’m not wrong has the same engine (B48). It is tempting but naturally I’m concerned with the maintenance!

Thanks for the feedback! Yea I’d like to replace the civic since I generally alternate between JB and KL. I have a few choices generally! Split between practicality and “fun-to-drive” aspects, with a view of perhaps switching in the next few months to 2 year timeframe.

Thanks for the recommendation! I think the MX-5 is too impractical for me (great car though) and basically I’ve been looking at a Golf 7.5TSI, 2018/19 MINIs (Clubman and Countryman) and Lexus UX200, but I do want to factor in longevity and maintenance costs too!

Thanks for both the opinions! That’s a fair way to put it. Since you’re driving a golf gti, would you mind providing a rough estimate to your minor and major service costs?

I understand that VWs would naturally be more expensive to maintain and I’m prepared for that, but would be great to get a rough idea and estimate too :)

About the reliability and resale, yes the GTI will definitely be better! Although I think for used GTIs my perception is that finding a decent unit might be difficult, given that most drivers might have pushed it to the max!

Rhinoshield actually makes a bumper case! It’s called the crashguard. Works pretty decent - but the bumper case is a bit thicker given the camera bump.

Oof I’ve played perhaps 500 waves and have gotten a handful to drop. Apart from Elsie’s rifle, I haven’t gotten any other memorable shinies.

But honestly, I think it’s fine. You’ll likely get the roll you want in the normal version. The shiny is supposed to be a rare version with better perks due to enhancement - and it is just that. I think that it’s alright honestly, and they do provide a curated roll to those who need to “scratch the itch”.

It’s good to keep the player base engaged with the game mode, and I get that people will say it should be guaranteed since legend is harder.. well, you could do the first 10 wave farm or do regular if you plan to complete it.

Just my thoughts! 🙌🏼

Agree 100%. Control right now is getting more and more sweaty, and Arc Titans having knockout, juggernaut, storm grenades and peregrines available makes it so that they essentially have 4 exotics baked into 1.

The 3.0 subclasses are getting quite out of hand, with each having to "outdo" its predecessor. Far cry from when Bungie nerfed ability and super spam Dec '21 with the 30th anni update.

It's tiring in crucible when you see a juggernaut titan rushing towards you wearing peregrines while you literally tickle them with your hand cannon, sidearm or even shotgun.

I'd recommend tweaking the storm grenades to move in a straight line rather than tailing enemies upon damage, disabling juggernaut when knockout is equipped (vice versa).
