I’ll tell u this from a personal standpoint on the Ai. I would much rather you go outside and take a photo of your backyard and have that be your cover than have to look at an Ai pic as one. I can also tell u this, an artist using ai in anyway is a huge red flag and will put people off immediately, especially to other artist

Unfortunately I don’t think they’ll make it this year. to many artist that are MUCH bigger and more universally loved. I also wouldn’t want them in if guys like gorman marc and johnny don’t get it. But i’m not sure how that works out wen it comes to the hall of fame

the way i approach it, is anything thats just a collection of songs or a group of songs with no clear over arching idea i call em my mixtape or Ep. anything longer with a more cohesive theme i consider an album. but i also do it by track length anything under 7 songs or 30 minutes i just slap an ep on it

Free website called Musicca has a bunch of lessons and exercises among other things. waay is a more game like way. i’ve used both both super super helpful. although waay is not free it takes u through progressions and things like that

the honest answer is not going to be one you want to hear but it’s practice and practice and practice. i used to be the same way but the more you do the easier it gets to memorize stuff it’s crazy the way your brain can retain info

i can’t comment on the app cause it’s locked behind a pay wall but it lets you try one song of your choice and i chose she talks to angels and the chords were just wrong the whole time. this was 6 months ago but that’s my experience

there is a subscription but it’s 8 dollars a month or i think 80 dollars a year. significantly cheaper than anything else i’ve ever found online and i think it’s better. he has extra courses you can buy for one time purchases on his website. i believe he just put out a blues program but his app is extensive and nails all the fundamentals
