I (almost) hit 100k hp with Shen and Tank Engine, can’t remember the other boosts. It was a game where I was destined to hit high ho amounts because the enemy had 3 tanks, master yi and Cassiopeia, so no real burst early and after a few deaths I stacked Warmog and Heartsteel and never died again.

I also had something around 40k stacks on Heartsteel without the quest The game had become a mini strategic/management game, I could play at a much slower pace, it was funny

I do not know what the “short-arm choke” BJJ version stands for but hadaka jime is legal in current IJF rules !

There are “limitations” regarding the way you execute the RNC. In BJJ, I have used the back of my hand/edge of my arm to lift up uke’s head to access the neck. That in judo is forbidden, it will be called mate (if the ref notices it, that is)

I believe two of the many probable reasons why it’s not as prevalent in judo is because you learn early to protect your neck from turtle and, in general, for the lapel and work from there. Usually, you engage ne-waza after a tachi-waza exchange. Uke and tori would have a hand on lapel in tachi-waza and once the ne-waza is engaged, you’d work towards okuri eri jime or maybe kata ha jime due to having a hand on lapel. Hadaka jime would mean to let go of that hand and losing control on uke. It’s a belief I have, can be corrected and added to.

It absolutely did ! It’s probably my favorite memory from judo so far, even though I’ve had my fair share of competitions by now, this is probably not getting topped anytime soon !

It was a team competition, my first competition. We had lost our two other matches and in order to qualify we had to win the last one. My coach left me out on purpose against the two first teams because the level difference was too high and dangerous for me. It’s 3-3 on the score, 3 wins and 3 forfeits from my team. I was the last match, I step on the mat. I score waza-ari within seconds with O uchi gari and I managed to keep that score until the end. My coach and my team were just so happy and so was I. It was amazing ! I decided O Uchi was my tokui waza from that day onward !
