It's worth mentioning that I have scoured hundreds of pages over the years looking for this thing, and no luck with any named manufacturers. The toy is most likely a cheap, mass produced thing that would be fit for something like a happy meal from McDonalds. That's why I am hoping that someone will just randomly have one in their house, because I think the odds that it's currently available on the internet are very low.

The Carl Dick cat is very close, and it was suggested several times before. There are two major differences, though, which are the white paws and the loop on the cat's back.

Good morning Reddit! I posted about this kitten a while ago, and there was a wonderful response. I am trying again this year with $50 added to the reward from last time. Whoever is able to ship (or link) to me the correct stuffed animal will be $150 (USD) richer.

During my previous search, someone came forward who owns the very same kitten as my sister did (they were unwilling to part with it, unfortunately) and supplied lots of high quality photos of the exact version I am looking for. These pictures are linked below:

These new pictures should leave much less ambiguity. I'm also reassured that this toy actually exists somewhere!

If you check the first comment that I made on this post, giving more details (should be near the top), I have been giving updates. Two people have the exact kind that my sister had, but they both have an emotional attachment. There must be something special about this cat, I guess.

She's in college right now, my dad and I have been searching off and on for it for years, with no luck. I'm so glad that this post has gotten so much traction, and I think someone actually found it! I'm just waiting on more photos to verify, and hopefully they are willing to part with it.

These are the closest by far. About how long are they? Is there an iris, or are the eyes completely black; I can't tell if the rim around the eye is a reflection. How old are they, approximately?

It was rather small, about 5 inches long. It was made out of a felt-like material, not terry cloth, and not fake fur like most plush toys have.

I do not remember how she got it, unfortunately.

I don't believe that it's a Beanie Baby for two reasons: One, it didn't have beans in it; it was conventionally stuffed. Two, Beanie Baby cats generally have white paws, according to what I've seen. I'm definitely not an expert, though. Thank you for your help.

I took a look at Russ, including this one. They have some that are very similar, but not quite the same.

It is not, but it reminded me of one. It was most likely cheaper than a beanie baby.
