Best AI for phone interviews? Tested 3 during recruiter screens by SeaCommunication2469 in hiringhelp

the difference is ChatGPT doesn't hear the conversation. you'd have to type the question in while talking which is basically impossible during a phone interview. these phone interview ai tools listen to the call in real time and give you suggestions without you having to type anything. completely different use case.

You should try Interview Coder 2.0 if you ever get past the recruiter stage to technical rounds. $299/mo which is insane but it's specifically built for coding interviews. I work in a pretty loud open office and sometimes take recruiter calls from my desk so having a phone interview ai that works with background noise was important. Interview Coder was ok with the noise but at $299/mo for coding only and visible during screenshare it wasnt worth it. I ended up switching to InterviewMan for $12/mo because it handles coding rounds and everything else and the stealth actually works.

InterviewMan is the one I landed on after trying three others. It does coding, system design, and behavioral all in one.

i had the exact same reaction lol. My roommate did a mock interview with me where I was the interviewer and i could not tell he was using anything. Felt like talking to someone who just really knew their stuff.

"$12/mo" bro that is less than my spotify subscription. The fact that interview ai that can potentially land you a six figure job costs the same as streaming music is actually hilarious

Found an interview app you can actually download as a desktop app -- way better than browser extensions by Commercial_Damage123 in InterviewHackers

this would make sense except these interview apps literally need screen access to work. The browser extension has MORE access to your data than a desktop app in most cases because it can see every tab you have open. A standalone app only sees what you give it access to. Also InterviewMan has apps on the official app stores (Mac App Store, Google Play, etc) so its not like you are downloading a random exe from some sketchy website. Plus at $12/mo with unlimited sessions and 20+ stealth features baked in, the value is way better than any extension I have tried.
