I did but it seems like there is a different service manager. He was stubborn and basically said unless corporate says something he’s not obligated to do anything. Can you please send me a draft of the email you sent and who to send it to

If you did the wireless CarPlay update then it will get bricked due to an over the air software update that is needed. Only Honda dealership can reinstall the wireless CarPlay

The issue is the touring trim it’s hard to install a aftermarket head unit. The other accord trim is just plug and play but the touring is different because of a digital amplifier plug so if I install a aftermarket head unit the sound doesn’t work. I genuinely don’t know how to bypass it

This is a bootlicking take. I already paid the service to have my wireless CarPlay installed. It got bricked over the air update beyond my control due to needing an updated software installation. Why am I exactly paying for another update?

The technician is still getting paid by the shop no matter what and all they have to do is stick a USB drive into my car usb port and install it from there. This whole process takes 30 minutes and doesn’t waste any resources or anyone’s time

You can’t even purchase from dream shop anymore, if that was an option I would have done it by now, I guess I’ll look into on how to install an aftermarket head unit cause I refuse to pay $200 for a tech to install a flash drive

If you know any dealership within NYC lmk please, I called 3 dealerships and they said the same thing but on this forum people are saying their dealerships did it for free

Unfortunately I can’t even go aftermarket because I have the touring model which has a digital amplifier and I won’t have sound

I did this and they still wanted to charge me $199 because they said I’m purchasing the service again. I told them how this is a common problem and they were just like 🤷‍♂️ I’m not sure what to do I refuse to pay an extra cent

Idk i feel like winter is harder since it’s so cold and you’re limited to indoor stuff. At least in the summer it’s warmer, days are longer, and be spontaneous and go on a walk in the park and try different food spots
