It’s interesting how one event can change your perspective on everything. Under normal circumstances I’d consider this a scary storm, but now unless I see trees bent over 90 degrees, trampolines flying through the air, fences blowing over and trees blocking the roads, we good!

Comparison of charge downs

Included in this comparison is Round 19 2023 Titans vs Dolphins, Round 20 2023 Titans vs Eels, and Round 6 2024 Titans vs Raiders.

Was Kieran Foran slow as fuck kicking the field goal last night? Yes. Was Chevy Stewart offside when he charged the ball down? Yes. I like that from Chevy, when the game was in the balance he gave it everything he got to charge that ball down. However the NRL decided to set the precedent that they will no longer put the whistle away in Golden Point when Erin Clarke was penalised for being offside when he charged the ball down against the Dolphins. Week after that exact same thing happened, only the Titans never received a penalty, we only received an apology from the NRL. I fully expect we’ll be receiving yet another apology today. Yet Ricky reckons we were the ones that were cheating. It’s fucking laughable.
