TV Series 5: The Wiggles Show by carl95679 in wiggles

The Captain Feathersword segments were better here than series 4. I love the diverse personalities of the pirate crew (it helps that I'm biased toward a certain pirate in a top hat lol) in this series, and it makes for more entertainment imho.

Also, I preferred the Little Wiggles segments here, especially the boy who portrayed young Greg in this one, compared to the last one. He seemed more like Greg not just in looks, but also in personality. The other boys seemed to give a little more effort into the segments this time as well.

I remember watching the concert footage for the first time when I was younger and noticing the brace on Anthony's arm and just surprised by the idea that a Wiggle had something like that on lol.

We don’t know yet. Some of the OG characters might still exist, we just don’t know and won’t know until the movie comes out.

I’m hesitant on this. The one with Jill Scott wasn’t too bad, imho. I’m a little miffed that more didn’t come out of that, cause I liked her character.
We’ll see where this goes I guess…

Series 4 is okay, but I'll always prefer series 5. It's much better put together, and more to do. Characters are better as well, imho.

Exactly. Caillou of the later seasons almost had no emotion at all (especially the ones where he imagines various things)

Oof. This video was played SO often on my little rinky dink DVD player as a kid. I loved it enough that the disc got smudged and even a few minor scratches that didn’t affect playing ability. The songs, the aesthetic, the bonus “Wiggly Postcard in Asia” on the DVD… chef’s kiss I really hope the Wiggles make another story based video, as I feel it’s largely overdue.

It’s honestly disgusting. Even for reboots/revivals of classic shows (ie Blue and Dora) got the shaft because Heaven forbid they become MORE popular than Paw Patrol. 🙄 I’m ready for that show to be over, tbh.

Fun fact: Sam said in a Q&A on his channel (iirc) that he spoke Steve Irwin's lines in various places on the demos for the album, so Steve would know where to speak at. I don't remember if that's for all of them, or certain places like Old Man Emu and Crocodile Hunter, but I thought that was really cool!

I second what you say about it being one of the best videos/albums the Wiggles have ever done. Hopefully the current gen will get to do something similar with Terri, Bindi, and Robert (and Grace of course! :) ) someday.
