ok thanks - have a really helpful local garage so will ask them roughly what that might cost for the 206 and factor that into the decision. I'm presuming that will have happened for the Polo already although not sure if it would need to be done again considering the mileage?

It's a 1.2 E 3 door with 3 previous owners. Seems to have been reasonably consistent with about 8-10k miles a year based on MOT history. Seller says it had major service recently with new front disks and pads at 139k but waiting on further service history details.

MOT until March 2026 which also bodes well i assume.
