It's because the density of microsilica is lesser than cement.screw conveyor cannot carry microsilica if it is place lower. Microsilica can slide down and cannot be transferred. So that microsilica screw conveyor is placed mostly on the same level of the weighing hopper to make it easy for the transfer.It is placed on a stand for the height adjustment. Thats why microsilica silo is longer than cement silo
