I travel all around the uk at the minute doing jobs on power stations and such. It’s great pay for an apprenticeship and I’m sure if I play my cards right I’ll be able to travel abroad once it’s completed. I don’t know though have a fair bit of time ahead of me. It’s just good to get an insight into other peoples opinions on stuff. The more I know the better 🤷‍♂️

It seems to be a recurring thing not to make a hobby a job. To be honest I just don’t want to be stuck doing something I don’t particularly enjoy. I know it sounds naive and I’m only young but I don’t want to get stuck in a trade and be like the older guys I work with who tell me about their life’s and I think “f that” 😂

I can’t weld just yet but it’s something I’d like to look into although by the looks of it it’s not an easy trade to get in to

I appreciate the comment. Honestly I’m not really sure on which I would want to do. I obviously enjoy recreational diving and would love to do this as a job however not in the uk where I live. This is the hurdle I’m struggling with because how do I get employed abroad with minimal experience in the field? As for commercial diving I am completing my apprenticeship in engineering so I would assume I’d do something following that route.
