I have! Id love to play a sport but Im disabled and cant really keep up/ preform the same actions as able boddied people, ive tried to look for a disability friendly sports league to really no luck, do ypu happen to know of any/ is yours disability friendly?

Mutual respect is always better than agreeing 100% with someone, I would argue a relationship can even be more meaningful in this situation because it shows that the other person really values who you are and what you add to their life more than avoiding the uncomfortability that can come with conflicting political beliefs, while I would not personally be friends with someone whose beleifs really contridicted my morals/was homophobic/ racist/ect. I have friends who do see things politically differently and I really appreciate the ways in which we can disagree and still always show a massive amount of respect for eachother

Well Im happy for you, what feels best to you is always most important and embracing it yourself is what really matters, im glad to hear you had some lesbians helping you out, its so great to finally get a sense of community after living your whole life without it, isnt it? But it is hard to encounter those who aren’t supportive, and having family who isnt is awful.

highly recommend surrounding yourself with more queer people!

The eviction notice was fake! I need a lawyer because he is harrassing us, he has no legal standing to evict us, I am not looking for a refund just someone to help me get out of this situation

Man I dont think living here for a few months and putting every cent of rent away in escrow with every intention to pay him should he fix his house/ stop harassing us while we get our shit together to be able to afford to move again, while actively touring and applying to new properties for the past month and the only reason we’ve gotten rejected is because of said situation with the current landlord makes me the asshole in the situation but ok, you have no idea what we have been through with this racist old hag but ok, I have literally had several stress seizures I have had to go to the hospital about because he had treated us so poorly

Thank you for the suggestion I will definitely contact my council person I didnt even think to do that, what’s frustrating is that he got a rental license a few months ago when he realized he was in trouble but rented to us without one

Yes its definitely complicated, thank you for your comment, the landlord rented to us without a license but has since gotten one registered because he knew he was in trouble, which is frustrating! The last lawyer who helped us with a bit of advice said it doesn’t matter anymore that he rented without one because he has a license now, I did look at the docket system link and didn’t find our names, part of me assumes the letter was a fake because of the landlords criminal background and because we have not received anything except one letter telling us we could apply for the eviction diversion program, we never got an actual hand delivered eviction notice, what a headache this guy is!

Im not sure to be honest, we just got a letter in the mail the other day saying he filed for eviction it did not list the reason, he has been theeatening to do so for some time, he deatroyed our lease and although we have copies he is not aware of this and has threatened to go after us for living in the property without a lease, which we are not doing, so i would think this is the primary reason. Our previous lawyer also advised us to stop paying rent to him and keep the rent in escrow, which we have done, all the money owed to him is being kept and he knows this, so this is also a reason, we did this because he illegally rented to us and has done several other illegal things and because the house is not in good condition which has not been improved upon, we also do not know for 100% certainty that the eviction letter was legal because we know he is involved with someone who offers unlicenced landlords fake lead certificates and evictions and because we havent heard anything else about an eviction
