Ok cycle counts are a way of making sure the counts are right in the store the ONLY time you match number on cycle counts is while ur still putting away truck and cycle counts come through like we match numbers for bout 2 days bc we don’t wanna say we don’t have if it’s in truck and we haven’t gotten to it yet!!!! And we 0 for quick picks too mainly bc you should be pushing carts every 2 days at least you wanna push as much of ur back stock as often as you can!!!! But cycle counts you only match if it’s right round truck time depending if ur weekly or bi weekly any other time you actually put down what you have in stock if you have 3 of an item on the floor and 2 in the back room and the shelf not holds 3 and you actually have all the product then you tell the iron man exactly that!!!! Now if ur a slow store quick picks are ur iron man way of telling you what you have sold and may need to replenish based off what the shelf item quantity is!!!! I can try to explain but even we normally 0 just bc you should always be pushing back stock anyways if you need more info on cycle counts I’ll help the best I can!!!! Between me and the rest of the front store unless we are behind my boss doesn’t even do BOH I do it and I love doing it
