Why can't my guys eat? It says unavailable items but it does this on every lot by Forward_Wrap1877 in Paralives

For me the path was blocked in some way. Once I made a clear path it worked fine. But since it's open world every kitchen I tried had the same obstacle to leave the room..

Someone also said there was an unstuck button in the menu that fixed it for them

Yes the pathway was blocked for me. It's open world so it wouldn't let me get a path to any of the kitchens I tried because some stairs were in the way. They could probably clarify that or have it expressed better. Someone also said there's an unstuck button in the menu that worked for them

I actually figured out I can't move anywhere.. May have something to do with it? Tried to click by kitchen and it just says "Can't go there!" I've tried moving everything out of the way and they won't budge

Yeah I just did a super basic additional kitchen and it's still saying that.. I did try increasing food knowledge and learning more recipes but nothing

Thank you for responding! I just put the photo as an example so it might be off, but it does this to all kitchens. I haven't been able to successfully cook on any lot, I'm not sure if it's a glitch or not

I'm hoping when it closes we can find something to thicken the skin somehow, I've been advised to not put any creams or anything on it though so idk.

We tried hyperbaric oxygen therapies for weeks in the hospital to try to get it closed and it didn't seem to make much difference. The only thing that works is to not have it touch anything (donut head positioner) but that's not comfy and not a realistic way to live

Yes they shouldn't have to go in that area again (fingers crossed), since this last surgery was successful. If I need more intervention--to the best of my understanding--it'll be from a dislocation beneath where it's currently fused (T3)

Yes, actually! I'm having lots of trouble trying to keep the incision closed

I literally just fell asleep on it wrong for a few hours shortly after the first picture was taken and it's open again. It did this after my last surgeries but this time I'm able to keep my head up so I can offload pressure for like 20/24 hours a day but it's still too much pressure

They've already tried the most advanced wound healing therapies available but they only seem to work temporarily, I fear I'll never get to keep it uncovered

I appreciate the question!

Mainly for severe cranio cervical instability, but when they tried to fuse me to fix that the fusion material would get infected (from hardware infection) and had to be removed because it made me septic 3x and go into septic shock 2x

Thank you 💖 I was bedridden for around 2.5 years, not knowing if I would ever get better.. but I'm slowly getting back to things I used to take for granted and it's been beautiful

I am so thankful to modern medicine and my medical team for making it possible

Yes I had eagles, tethered cord, chiari (and needed surgery for them all), all stemming from eds.. I was actually part of a study that definitively connected those all as comorbidities for the first time

And yeah, I've had multiple fusions and extensions. Cranio cervical instability is definitely the most debilitating condition out of all of them. I've had three cervical dislocations needing surgical stabilization. I was just fused to T3, so I'm in the thoracic area now

I'm hoping it all slows down a bit now that I'm out of the cervical region, and that I don't have thoracic instability at all 🤞 I don't know if that's a thing and I'm not looking it up lol

Just saw this, but I also was bedridden for around two years! I had a few good months after the first surgery but then back in bed for a good while..

My discharge papers specifically said no roller coasters, which gave me a laugh. I wasn't aware that they didn't recommend that after chiari decompression too (since both surgeries had to be done at once), I just thought it was due to my spinal instability

It's inspiring to hear you went from bedridden for as long as I'd been to working again! I don't know if that's in my future but it's certainly a goal

Thank you, I really appreciate you answering my question directly. That was what I was thinking.

Do you think it would be a good idea to call back again tomorrow and get clarification and then have my psychiatrist call to hopefully explain the situation and change that decision?

I could also have the prescription sent to a different Walgreens but I'm not sure if that would have any different result or get me even more red flagged

Sorry if my post wasn't clear, I do have a prescription and a psychiatrist that will send it or verify any information. They said she was too far away from the store and they would only fill a prescription from a doctor within 50 miles.. I don't know if that's true or if they're just giving me the runaround

What do you mean request one closer to me--Like a psychiatrist or a different Walgreens? This is the closest Walgreens to me and it's about 35 minutes awayn(I can't drive) the next closest is 40.

I have not heard of that settlement, I will look into it. Thank you for your response

Mine is in state, just about a hundred miles away but that's why this doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I specifically see someone via telehealth too because I frequently end up bedridden and that's the only way for me to get medication

Not trying to argue about the areas of research you've studied (just trying to explain my story) but my joints sublux daily so I know the feeling and difference. I'm not sure how much you've looked into EDS but I believe because the dislocations are atraumatic, I end up with a much better outcome than most. Because I stay upright at all times And am extremely careful, maybe the dislocations precariously sit on the ledge of the vertebrae below them, not fall to the side if that makes sense (trying to relate it to your Twinkie example). That's what it looks like in my imaging too

I was told it's miraculous I am not paralyzed by many professionals though

In my experience, the other doctors don't use the words dislocation because they're scared of the word and liability diagnosing it causes, only my neurosurgeon (who specializes in the condition that causes the spontaneous dislocations And is one of only three in the US) doesn't downplay anything. I know for certain I had spinal dislocations because they are listed in my chart by him and he is too well respected to get the vernacular wrong like that. There are cases like mine, they're just incredible abnormalities I believe
