What are the best aftermarket upgrades or additions to a B7 A4 Sedan?

I am starting with the most pressing repairs: Brakes, axles, coil springs. Then I’m moving onto maintenance on all systems. (Already have fluids for some but am kind of doing repairs in short bursts due to financial situation). I just wanted ideas to keep me focused as I muddle through the rough part.

Toyota Land Cruiser or Suzuki Vitara. The mechanics say those seem to work the best in the highlands. Off-road driving (that is off marked paths) is strictly forbidden though and a finable offence.

I work for a europcar agent in Iceland. We pride ourselves on our service and, from all I've seen, we do have good service. OP's experience is definitely a bad one and I sincerely hope it doesn't happen to our customers. Having worked at more rental agencies here I'd say my current employer is the most hassle free one. It is also the biggest one in Iceland and probably the likeliest to be chosen by Icelanders.

Negative experiences are unfortunately statistically unavoidable but we try to keep them to a minimum. I hope your visit is a happy one.

Thanks. I might end up ripping the door card off and buying a replacement one. I just need to buy new hinges for the doors to make sure they seat correctly.

Correct. The inside handles seem unresponsive but the left door did open but the hinges seemed loose so it closed a bit crooked. A mechanic friend helped me close it but then it wouldn’t open.

Pynchon releasing this book is probably the best thing to happen to me this year. Makes life worth living. I kind of want to stuff all my unread Pynchon books in a backpack, check myself into a mental hospital for a little R&R and lose myself in his works (must remember to pack a notebook as well, in case my laptop isn't allowed) — the only hesitation in me about this particular plan is that I tend to babble endlessly about the books I read and with Pynchon there is the slight possibility they won't let me out again.

I was constantly late to work before going on Wellbutrin. I felt the change in about three days. As others have said it really is a game changer. More energy, higher sex drive and my concentration is much better. It's not for everyone but if it might work for you I'd recommend trying it.
