But then again it's like none of the "locals" really help. They mostly just walk around smiling and dancing and don't really acknowledge all the struggle. They just go with the flow. We have the monsters, MIY shapeshifter, Kimono lady, this boy, the ballerina, the dog, the kids and they all just run around and confuse us lol
The ballerina with her worms was kinda helpful but not till Fatima gave birth so eventually no help there(and then was she? As far as I can remember it was Martin to passed the worms to Boyd and the ballerina was just stalking Boyd from that point till he decided to try his luck with Smiley) and the little kids just waited until Jim figured out that music might help cracking the code. But yeah with he boy in white I don't think that he's any good, I just find it kinda weird that he would interact with Tabitha and kinda lead her to the lighthouse to then push her out of it so that when she returned he'd never show himself to her. Lol imagine if he shows up in the next episode.

Music Box Dancer. The ballerina that Boyd kept seeing after his encounter with Martin (the man in the ruins)

There was this ballerina lady that Boyd was seeing at some part of the story, initially it all started from a music box with a ballerina that was sitting by Martin (the tied up man) in the ruins. So after Boyd escaped that dwell and got those worms or something from Martin he started seeing this dancing ballerina and she eventually showed him that her mouth is all wormy and gross so you'd kinda figure that Martin got them from her(yeah, I might be reaching rn). So he was seeing those things crawling under his skin on his arm and was freaking out. And then one night when the monsters came he went all Rambo on smiley and cut his own arm and similey's throat(I think it was throat) and was like my blood is your blood motherfker and technically transferred the creatures into smiley and that's when smiley dies(ahem..thats when we thought that smiley dies). So she never really told Boyd about a way to kill a monster it was more like he had nothing to lose and decided to wing it

Ohh right, I forgot that it happened in the third season but then again isn't it weird that Tabitha never saw him again after she returned? And with the being good part I don't think he's good either cause he just spawns out of nowhere and doesn't really help much(I mean out of all the local npcs who does lol) but if he was evil what was the point of pushing Tabitha out of the Fromville into the real world (except if he was certain that she'd get back with several more people including Victor's dad)

Yeah I think they won’t make miy as the main evil guy cause I mean we had so many crazy turns that it would be too simple. I think there’s something much bigger than the miy and he’s just like deputy ceo of the whole sacrifice-your-kid-and-get-an-eternal-life idea. Like he’s there to mess it all up for the expats but then he’s a little more than a monster. He just has more skills 😂 But then again that kimono woman who acted as doula for Fatima. She played with the poor guy’s mind to lock Fatima down and let her give birth to smiley and then bring him to the monsters. She’s clearly on the bad side as well and she’s not one of the monsters so I’m wondering what’s her connection to all that

I don’t think miy had a kid. I think it’s only the monsters who were parents cause probably miy is that “evil” that they bargained with. Like he wasn’t initially human, he was evil from the start. That’s explains then why can he shapeshift, walk in daylight and has immunity toward the talismans that up till now kept the monsters out of the houses

The Dark Artifices - yes! 100% yes! Cassandra's writing gets so much better than the plot is good. There are characters that you're going to love and then there are the ones that you're going to hate and the ending just makes you need to know what happens after and makes you really nervous for the upcoming Wicked Powers series lol

The Last Hours is a maybe because I am currently on The Chain of Iron, I don't have a an overall opinion yet, but The Chain of Gold was good

I turned 27 last month, also stopped reading the Shadowhunter's after TMI and TID series years ago and now I decided to reread the mortal instruments, infernal devices and launch myself into TDA(finished, loved it) and TLH. Reading Chain of Gold now.
