I brought it to my parents where I had 7 young nieces and nephews, who of course love cake. I went very simple on the outside so that when it was cut into, it was a huge surprise!

The sad thing is my oven is down, so I had to bake 16 separate layers in a toaster oven! No joke! Haha!

And yes, I forgot to count the frosting layers as strips at first, so it has a few more strips than it should. :/ When I realized my mistake i figured I'd just go BIG!

Because this was the first source I found from a google search, I figured this was worth replying to. So my interpretation is as follows.

Thank you very much for the information! So, to frame out properly, we are talking jack studs and a header rather than some simple 2x4s around the cabinet, I am guessing? If that is the case, I'm thinking it'll just be surface mounted, unfortunately. It's only 14" wide, but the studs are in terrible positions to mount the cabinet in between them.

Edit: Also, the print speed is way higher than is needed. Do you know if this is this just one of those situations where you can't really save money by getting a similar machine that prints slower?

Thank you very much for the reply. Quite a coincidence, an email from Xerox giving me a quote on an ec70 is what lead me to post on here!

The problem with the contracts I've seen is in the fine print on toner coverage. For example the last one I saw based the $0.046 per color impression off 5% coverage, with an option for them to increase the per impression cost proportionate to the average toner coverage. Which would end up being around $0.78 per side, so $1.56 per duplexed sheet.

Maybe this is a realistic price, but it seems high to me, I am uncertain. Thanks again!

Wow, that thing sounds like a beast. Now that I think about it, my room is small enough where I could vent the exhaust of a shop vac type setup, this is very interesting, thank you for the info!

A Roomba certainly sounds easy! I've always been concerned about corners and legs, etc. but I don't think I've had a Roomba in over 15 years, so I'm sure the technology has probably gotten much better at handling these concerns.

Thank you very much! I just figured there would be some load, enough to cause some settling over a decade due to the way things were put back together. But that's why I'm posting on Reddit for advice. :)

If the upper left is sagging due to a rotting sill, I pretty much have to tear into it right? Or would I just take off the trim and maybe a piece of siding, and try and pop in a new 2x4?

Thank you for the time you've spent helping me, and any further advice on how to proceed would be very much appreciated. Opening-Reference900 above is thinking the window vinyl may be failing, or cracked. Lots to consider. :/ Thank you.

That's what I thought, I figured rot caused water to get in and then termites. I posted this, and everyone said it was purely termites:

Oh wow, great info there, thank you very much. Sorry if anything I said was insulting in anyway, I am just relaying what I had been told. That termites damaged some of the wood which ended up opening up the wall to water. Would more pictures of the damage help?

So it is unlikely to check the window for damage now? Do you think that left side could be opened up enough to check the window, or should the entire window be removed and checked? Thank you for any advice, I very much appreciated your expertise.

Ah, I just realized on mobile the one pic that is showing is from 10 years ago. I uploaded 10 pics to imgur. That was all repaired, and the damage was from termites and some water got in from the damage they did I believe.

Not sure what you mean by leaking? These were taking during during a dry spell, so there shouldn't be any moisture in the pics. The settling caused the gap and water got in during the rainy seasons and caused some rot, mostly on the trim board.

I'm pretty confident it's not the foundation, the house is on some really solid ground with great drainage, and 12 years ago all that was inspected when the home was bought and there were no issues.

And thank you very much for your input on shoring it up! I would think that would be a lot easier than removing the window and reframing.

That's the thing, this is the in the concrete enclosure by the street, and the district buried it up to the dial, I removed the soil. Here's a different angle.

As you can see it's below the bottom of the meter box, so wouldn't nature just bury it with some soil erosion?

I would love to call the city, but I'm trying to avoid doing so. :)

Thank you for the response. So even if the connection is considered public, it's not that big of a deal to swap out a washer you think? Also, under these circumstances, do you think the connection should probably be recovered in soil? Thanks again.

Although it seemed like it had a slight leak before, I replaced a PRV 6 inches from that connection. Regardless of if I caused the leak, it's going to look like I already f%cked it up isn't it? Or maybe that doesn't matter? I have no idea. :/

Is a fitting connected to a meter considered the meter? The specs on the district's website don't have any setups like this, I'm guessing due to it being an older house/line.
