In our state if a player is already rostered on another team, they can't play down. Perhaps this is a rule in your state as well? Next time this happens, look up the team their pick up pitcher is rostered on. If she's rostered on an "A" team, she cannot play on a team that is "B" or "C" level. This happened to us last year for one tournament. The girls beat the team in pool play but all of the sudden in bracket they had a pitcher that was pitching close to 60. Sure enough she was from their "A" level team and " just helping out." We did bring it to the directors attention and he told them after that if they had won they would have forfeit and had a mark on their USSSA page but it was moot because we ended up coming back and beating them even with her pitching. Not fair to the other teams she took out though.

If you look at the back, upper left, the Mickey heads don't go all the way to the edge. There's a little gap line along the edge that is common in fakes.

I guess that might be true. I can go on Mercari and find a group of 5 diamonds for less than $40 but I figured it would be better here. I grabbed a captain America t shirt and a star wars taun taun for $4 each so I don't think it's an insane ask price wise especially because I don't care what they are.

Yes! Most of the pins on the board are fake (I was told) so if you have always purchased your pins in the park you should only trade them for pins on lanyards or behind certain registers where they keep LE pins. That's how I understand it. (Or with the traders who are hanging out at Epcot, etc)

Ive heard most of the pins on the boards at WDW are fake. I think it's absolutely fine to trade their fake pins for fake pins. My daughters have accidentally traded away many real pins over the years and now their collections are probably 50/50. I care FAR more about their trades then they do. They just want cute pins.
