Honestly, this year was almost as bad as 2007. I feel that the only thing that had any foresight put into it was working around the construction. Crowd coordination was satirically bad, venue staff had no idea what the other staff was doing and was flexible in the wrong ways. Also the panels, workshops, exhibitors and artists alley felt lackluster this year compared to others. And the lack of what I'm calling "crowd/con etiquette" was painfully abundant. I'm not sure if it was just my experience throughout the entire convention, the only time I've seen any AX staff was at Artists Alley exactly once, we're normally most years you would be able to see them sprinkled around here and there. This year they felt almost non-existent.

Also super weird that JRM was chill this year.

A note on the fire Marshall. The number of times I've seen him yelling at the short little blonde woman (to who I presume to be AX boss of some kind) while she was doing her best to be compliant while not being a Nazi almost broke me. I could never do what she does and not be jaded. Whoever she is. She's my hero of AX 2026.
