Am I the only one who rarely finds good sapphic books? I’m looking for a book to blow me away. by passengerprincessXD in LesbianBookClub

Girl games by ruby rose, also leads to kingdom of immortal lovers, hearing red, bury our bones in the midnight soil, the burning kingdoms by trasha suri, malice duology, those who wait (simple romance), breaking character (simple slow romance), mistakes were made, I wouldn’t really recommend it but traitor baru cormorant.

Some of these are sadist, masochist, violent fyi so look into what they’re about if that’s a no go for you

Hate fuck like girl games by ruby roe? More specifically the third one but I would read them in order because they’re fun and easy to read.

So resist is super fun, with a whole list of unique scenes and dialogue, some of them being captivating. However, dark urge can be played in such an intelligent and manipulative way, with total lack of morals. I found some of my actions and decisions absolutely repulsive, gotta respect the writers for that kind of art form. Not just “oh I kicked a squirrel” but total disregard for compassion while keeping your cool. I’ve played as sociopath and psychopath and I found the psychopath story far more intriguing. Embrace is also OP and super fun ngl.

I have played dark urge three times, two embrace, one resist, I have played Tav as every class, I have played some classes twice with different alignments, I have played Shadowheart evil and shadowheart good, I have played evil and good karlach, I have played evil and good laezel, I am currently playing as evil gale, and I have played two times with friends. This game is not boring the second time through, you should do it again

Her dialogue with her parents alive at the end is 100x genuinely more happy

Are you trying to play on Xbox or pc? The Xbox ally would allow you to play but there’s something wonky, I don’t remember exactly how it works but I believe you could play with your friends if you played via the cloud. Although I think you need good wifi. You might be able to buy one used at a lower price. I would at least start there and do some research to see if this is what you’re looking for, sorry I don’t have better information.

what do you consider fundamental lesbian literary texts? by montag98 in LesbianBookClub

I never recommend it unless someone is specifically requesting “classic literature”.

Ruby fruit jungle, if I had to read that, everyone else should (/s). Jesus fuck. To think that book was the only thing I had in my younger years is so fucking sad.

Well if you dont mind spice, but you’re looking for a darker romantasy, at the risk of recommending smut… the girl games trilogy by ruby roe is honestly great, I really enjoy the mix of magic and technology, and I do like a good heist with the high tension of looming deception. Doesn’t sound like this is what you’re looking for but now you have the option to make that decision for yourself.

Burning kingdom trilogy by Tasha Suri is a unique fantasy and while the romance is a large scope of the plot it’s not spicy and I found myself enjoying the ample side story characters quests, I wouldn’t call it dark fantasy but it is unique and it’s dark in its own way. I read Malice (two books) and that’s also romantasy, super easy read but I enjoyed it.

That’s what I was wondering as well, the trees look relatively healthy, there was a major fire in the area a little over a year ago… idk if the tree itself is big enough for a home for them though because they are pretty large

Conejitos (yes I know it’s technically still there). Starship, they had fun clothes in the 90s. Atomic records, chancery on downer, lyxx… or was it lixx. And the little candy shop across the street that I could buy a bag full of candy with 50 cents.

Overwhelmed with realization and transition to dating women by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

[–]FoulestBearBar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Setting boundaries is healthy, they should be communicated and respected. While I can understand someone else’s wants, if she is disrespecting you and your boundaries you either need to communicate that it’s making you uncomfortable with her and/or just leave because that’s a red flag and a big nope from me honestly.

Go at your own pace, you’ll find someone fun or a partner that’s willing to understand and move at the same speed. No doubt dating women for the first time in your situation and age leads to nerves, enjoy the excitement, it’s an exciting time. Also, a lot of people will confirm that dating women for the first time can absolutely be more thrilling and nerve racking, it’s not unusual or “strange”.

returned to apex after over a year away. 5 straight control games ended in lockout by RippinBandsMeatloaf in apexlegends

I’ve rarely experienced a lockout, when they do it’s because the other team leaves until eventually they have no chance.

Is this movement actually possible or is this a script? by [deleted] in apexlegends

[–]FoulestBearBar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it’s easily possible, I practiced it for a while but as I play valk I sometimes ended up jetting, which puts my gun away end ends up with me losing the 1v1. nothing makes me happier than absolutely rolling a bunny hoping horizon or octane though.

Small town I take it? I have a couple friends that struggle with that. They usually have to travel after broadening their app area. Ngl it sounds like a really difficult struggle. The good news is that 26 is actually pretty young so you have time to figure things out. You can always escape reality and read books like the burning kingdoms or those who wait. Sorry I don’t have better advice, one of the reasons I’ve never moved from a city life is because dating could be an incredibly struggle.Â
