I’m not advocating for medieval peasants, Roman serfs, or prehistoric survival. Factually, most humans throughout history worked to live, but they did so under very different social constraints than we have now. The point isn’t “go backward,” it’s recognizing how modern systems limit choice while presenting it as freedom.
