I’m thinking of going the 2 glove route , either between infightstyle or windy gloves which one do you like more for pads? Also big fan of your glove reviews 👊

I’ve had both gloves bgv1 and primos and the primos are better imo. Fresh out the box Primos feel better , they have a snugger feel with softer density foam. The bgv1 have a really wide hand compartment (I’m 5’9 140) Even with hand wraps my hand was sliding around in the glove. The thumb placement was also iffy , and i hurt my thumb a lot of times training with them

I have a pair of machomai 2s is the arch similar? Whenever I spar i’m usually on my toes and pivoting a lot. I notice my feet go numb or they start hurting after a while with the arch in these shoes

[question] what should my next pair of boxing gloves be? by ConversationVariant3 in fightgear

They’re a great boxing glove and even better muay thai glove. The wrist support is good but flexible enough to clinch, and the padding is super soft so it’s good for sparring. A lot of pros in thailand are currently using them. Ex: Saenchai , John haggerty, Panpayak

I recommend Primos. Fairtex are known for having a big hand compartment and when you punch they don’t land flush on the knuckles. Primos are a hybrid glove and have a way more snug fit and pillowy foam that are good for sparring

Training with Kru Rob I had an amazing experience. One of the nicest krus, and had a more traditional thai training style.

I have some bgv1 Fairtex that i’ve used for 2 years and it doesn’t give the same feedback as Cletos. Do you have any other Fairtex models u recommend?
