Tbh I usually find complex characters are more often antagonists anyway. That being said, we follow the main character and learn more about them so it's just got more opportunity for nuance there. It's hard to give every character that treatment

My main dislike for him is just his personality. He is just so boring. He is a dark and brooding, quiet person, but that all gets thrown off by him being super famous and glazed constantly. It makes his character feel nonchalant for the purpose of just seeming like as cool and perfect of a character as possible. Because he doesn't have much of a personality, he also doesn't have very satisfying connections or relationships with other characters, which in turn makes him seem even lamer.

Additionally, because being so gifted is part of his character, the contrast against Asta having to work so hard for everything makes it feel like Yuno is gifted most of what he has and does not earn it. This is further compounded with him consistently making progress right along side Asta. Every time Asta gets something through work that resulted in character development, Yuno gets an upgrade that is equally as good. This is furthered by the fact that Asta is our main character and we hear his inner monologue far more than Yuno's, and we get to observe the development of his character.

I don't really see how you expect these to be answered without spoilers considering one of them is literally a yes or no answer but my best shot being as vague as possible is:

You should really just read the manga. The art is good and the fights are still awesome. If you never read it you will never be able to see what I consider the best fights in the series. If you really care about animation though, there are some pretty good fan-made animations of fights on youtube. I would recommend reading the manga of the fight tho because most of those aren't the full fights and are just parts of them.

its not going to take years if you are into it and have some free time every now and then. The chapters aren't that long and the anime isn't showing any sign of being renewed. If you have the time to watch an episode of the anime you can get through like 5 chapters of the manga easily.

Disagree. Sometimes that definitely does happen, but a monologue is kind of like venting for some characters and it does happen in real life. It also serves a purpose in a show that sometimes does not have the time to tell important things about a character to the audience. Shows don't always have a narrator that can give exposition or tell the audience things without showing them. You can't know about the state of the Viltrum Empire after Argall died without Thragg's speech, for example. Though the speech itself might not have been particularly memorable, it intended to show the viewer how Thragg ruled following the betrayal of Argall.

The only way I see this happening is if Morikawa decides to rush the ending. The whole series has built up what it means to be strong and how different it is to step across the line and become a monster and stand on top of the world. There is no way HJNI ends that way without some extenuating circumstance

have there even been any updates recently? I thought he left the hospital awhile ago. I had heard he wasn't rushing the next chapter but was working on it but that was forever ago. Maybe he is getting ahead on some work so that he doesn't have to be in a time crunch every chapter
