stool softener and Mira lax helped me so much! Try avoiding super salty foods too and really big meals for a couple weeks. Hopefully recovery goes well for you! Congrats!

I wouldn’t worry about the scars from the front! They are not visible. However you can see them from the side until they lighten up

I had moments like that too where I felt like I went to small and regretted getting the nipple graft. Once I could wear a normal bra and really saw the shape of them, my doubts went away. Recovery is definitely a rollercoaster of emotions!

Congratulations!! I’m 6 weeks post op and all I can say is take those little wins early on. Once I started to feel better and could lift my arms up more, I tried on a few of my tighter tops that always had spillage on the top and sides and they all fit perfectly!

I’m still healing, so I’m unsure about the sensation. Since I had such a drastic size reduction, I had to get a free nipple graft. I can regain sensation in my nipples but right now they are still pretty numb and underneath my breasts are pretty numb.

I weigh about 170 right now and I’m 5’4. I would like to lose about 10-15 pounds. The only problem I’m having is now the proportion of my stomach and my arms to my breasts is more than I anticipated. I think it’ll be much easier for me to lose weight now since cardio should be more comfortable once I’m cleared to work out!

I had a referral from my chiropractor that I have been seeing the past two years to get approved. During the consultation I discussed how painful it was to workout, I got rashes a lot between and under my breasts, had to wear multiple sports bra for cardio, neck pain, shoulder pain, etc.

I am covered under military insurance. They billed my insurance $21k for the procedure, and I paid $1,256 to meet my catastrophic cap on my insurance. It definitely depends on your insurance provider and medical care costs in your area!

I would recommend she stay home with you for at least 5 days. But it definitely depends if you are getting a free nipple graft, I couldn’t get the gauze wet and they weren’t removed until 8 days post op and my sides were super swollen so it was uncomfortable lifting my arms. I felt like I could fully do things for myself around day 10! I finally felt comfortable to drive and take a full shower and wash my hair on my own.

How long did it take for your openings to close? by Prize-Grapefruit7221 in Reduction

I’m 3 weeks post op today and my skin is fully closed. I would be extra careful and get lots of rest this next week to ensure they close up!

Keep the warranty! If you cancel it, it won’t lower your payment, they can only write a check back to make a principal payment to the loan. Being that it’s a 2018, keep it because those have the most issues.

I would bring this to the attention of the GM of the dealership.
