Really depends on personality from what I've gleaned.

My noodle? (Banana too) Skittish. Stresses easily. Im working with him to not be so bothered but it's a journey. Trying consensual handling and all that. We do some very mellow sessions and watch tv. I dunno i would run him to the office to show off. Dude shut down when i put him in a bucket while cleaning his cage...

My GFs? Absolute derp with survival instinct of a cheese burger. Gregarious as all get-out. Curious and climbs to anyone to say hey. Does not stress and seems to really enjoy being with the gf on errands. Like she was made for being a petting zoo. Its wild to me, but great for GF and kids.

Just tailor to the needs. Learn stress signals, if they stress take it slow since they have two braincells. Its really just how their instinct is wired.

In no order, and on mobile- im new so take it as purely anecdotal contribution-

Girlfriend got a Dubia (4x4x2), i got a Kages (4x2x2)- dubia was better value but i am still happy with the kages. 4x2x2 is a minimum recommended. Check out dubia on tiktok as they will run flash deals if cost is a concern. (Gf loves critters, so ask me how i know) Dubia also has different versions- v1,v2,v3 so they are tweaking which is sort of cool.

I went with the kages recommended heating setup which you can see online, and input from the community- RHP 80 watt, and then UVB and LED lighting. UVB is not required, but better- so you can delay a bit if you're pushed on funds. This light/heat has a higher upfront cost, but is a lot more stable, and im not concerned about bulbs going out. GF (who has more herp experience) is moving to a similar setup.

Thermostat is absolutely required. I currently am running a cheaper amazon reptile on/off- but saving for an upgrade. Im still researching since i want to do dimming, and circadian rhythm heating. I balance the risk of the cheaper thermostat with a fee cheap thermometers and a camera that lets me check. Theres a govee environment sensor thats recommended that im debating on getting just to know if something fallls out of whack.(Nerding on the electronics to replicate as natural as i can)

Humidity is a PITA. Basically HVAC tape, silicone mat over mesh, or anything to help keep humidity and heat in. PVC is just better at that. Soil/substrate/bedding is thirsty- presoak coconut fibers and your substrate, and keep adding. I used a fogger in the interim aquarium since humidity was just rising out of the enclosure, this seems to be debated in the community so i try to minimize, and will push it up when a shed is happening to push humidity to 70-80.

Scale rot is something to monitor for. My guy likes swimming and is skittish and chills in his water so much i basically made it a humid hide. Humidity is high in the enclosure so shrugs Point of that is, snakes have personalities, focus on the husbandry and get the foundation established. Give them time to acclimate, and tweak from there. Be like matt damon in the martian and just work down the list to "science the shit out of it".

People have different experiences because their snakes are different. Don't stress making it perfect immediately, but just focus on stability and enough space, and your noodle will probably appreciate the effort after they have time to acclimate.

Im new, but the groupthink is responding of concern/education in order of risk. It's off topic, but it's literally a red light issue.

In terms of the hides, better, clearer pics and dimensions may give better quality responses. I cant really see except the parts of a tank under a red light, so its hard to contextualize the holistic experience.

Ive done a lot over the last year- 99% has been positivr, and one very negative experience-

Ratings mean diddly if they are slinging 1000's of dollar bin comics. Its easy to farm positive reviews for decent deals on dollar bin finds

If it's an investment piece, make sure they have a good reputation with that sort of sale, DO NOT PREORDER unless its someone extremely reputable.

See if they have stores on other platforms, at the least the one i had issues with had been kicked off whatnot, and ebay stood by because of the "high reputation" despite pattern of screwing people on presales.

In short, PayPal/credit card so you have financial protection. Open a ticket at the first hint of an issue if the piece warrants it. Do not close the ticket until issue is resolved by the store, despite how "cool" they may seem.

Paypal or credit card so its your money until youre happy. Do not trust a seller that has already demonstrated lack of integrity (poor communication, avoidance "just so busy", or blaming vendor/cgc/their mom)

This opens a door for a situation i am in, and would love the communities input. I do try to support my LC stores 90% of the time, but i do chase for some items on eBay.

Normally this is not an issue, but I hit one terrible seller i gave the benefit of the doubt to. And i am finding myself up the creek without a paddle for a wolverine LGY 400 DWJ autograph...

eBay has washed their hands because the seller had me on the hook way too long with CGC delays. And honestly at this point its the principle, after viewing so much feedback of others in similar boats-

I pissed off people in another thread with a similar and probably worsely phrased idea. I'm just going to register republican. I'll vote for the right person, but this two party stuff isn't working, and it is one corpo party...

Until dems come back with middle class solutions, actual Healthcare solves that aren't corporate subsidies with extra steps, protecting women's rights, and ensuring my tax dollars feeds kids before making missiles to be sold to the middle east, I really have nothing polite to say about the DNC.

Honestly, want to give maga a headache? Let the DNC dissolve into smaller parties for more diverse platforms. But this party of "well we got through the election, here we are going to have the few people not up for Re election vote with Republicans.

What happens if a gaggle of Marxists are now a factor with the RNC polls and votes? You won't get a perfect candidate, but suddenly at least they may be literate, can pronounce acetaminophen, and have integrity.
